STATUS OF AMNESTY APPLICATION AND DEFECT COMPLIANCE USER MANUAL FOR APPLICANT
Amnesty applications filed by applicant will be allocated to concern Nodal officers. Nodal
officers will verify Amnesty application and may issue defect notice if any defect found. The defect
notice so issued will be sent to email ID of applicant as provided in his Amnesty application. Also text
message will be sent to applicant on mobile number provided in application form.
The applicant shall file defect compliance online using login credentials. The process of defect
compliance is as stated below.
1. Visit to mahagst site(dealer portal) that is [Link]
2. Click on “login for e-services” Tile.
3. In “login for e-services” Tile there are different links given. Click on “Apply for Amnesty Scheme”
link OR “ login for Vat and Allied Acts” link. The Logon page will open.
4. In logon page, Use your User Id(Which is 11 digit TIN or UIN) and password (as set by applicant)
and click on “Logon” button.(UIN- Unique Identification Number)
5. After successful login applicant will redirect to e-services page. In e-Services page, For TIN holder
there are multiple Tiles given and for UIN holder only Amnesty Tile will seen. Click on Amnesty
Scheme 2019 Tile.
6. Click on Amnesty Scheme 2019 Tile, two links will be seen. These different links are a)
“Application Upload” to be used for uploading of Amnesty Application in Form-I and Form-IA
and b)“Application Status and Defect Notice Compliance” to be used for checking the status of
application and compliance of defect notice.
7. Click on “Application Status and Defect Notice Compliance” link. The list of applications filed will
be opened and status of application will be seen. In case of application where defect is issued,
the Status of application will be seen as “Defect Notice Issued”.
8. Status of Application is hyperlinked. To comply defect, click on status of the application, “Defect
notice issued”. The defect compliance page will open. In this page there are two parts given for
uploading of documents. Part First is for uploading of document defect wise. Part second is for
uploading “Letter of Defect Compliance”.
9. Keep compliance documents ready. Read the defect title. To upload defect related documents
click on “Browse” button and select and attach appropriate compliance related documents.
Then click on “Upload File” Button. The compliance documents will be uploaded and each time
documents upload success message will be displayed. Applicant can see his uploaded
documents using “View” button. Repeat this uploading activity for the compliance of all defects.
10. Upload letter of defect compliance using same steps as above. Uploading success message will
seen.
11. At last click on “Submit Button”. The defect compliance will be submitted and message as
“Defect Complied” will seen on screen.
12. Please note, Clicking “Submit” button is mandatory action for submission of your Defect
Compliance. This submitted defect Compliance will be sent to Nodal officer.
13. The status of your Amnesty application will be changed to “Defect Notice Complied”
14. On the basis of your defect compliance the Nodal officer will take apprpriate action on your
Amnesty application. The status of your Amnesty Application will be changed accordingly.
