the classroom, we should do prayer according to the school norms. We should follow
the teacher�s orders, behave well with everyone in the classroom and learn
everything in right manner.
Conclusion
We should not misbehave with the teachers, principal, maid, gate keepers or
students. We should behave well with everyone whether at home, school, office or
other places. No one can achieve anything big in his life without discipline. Thus,
we all should follow and obey our parents and teachers to be a successful person in
the life.
Discipline is the act of keeping our body, mind and soul under control and doing
all the works in right manner by following the orders of the parents, teachers and
elders of the family. It is the act to train our mind to accept rules and
regulations to be in discipline. We can also see the examples of discipline in
nature in our daily lives
Sun rises and sets at right time every day, moon rises and sets at right time,
morning and evening occur daily without getting late, river always flows, parents
always love, teachers always teach us and many more. So why we should be left
behind in our life, we should also follow all the discipline necessary in our lives
to go ahead without suffering from problems.
We should follow parents, teachers and our elders. We should listen to them to know
about their experiences and learn from their wins and failures. Whenever we start
looking deeply at anything, it gives us a valuable lesson in the life. The seasons
come and go in right pattern, rains occur and go and everything occurs at right
time to make our lives balanced. So, we too need to be in discipline to maintain
the life cycle on this earth.

Indiscipline causes lots of confusion in the life and makes a person irresponsible
and lazy. It lowers the confidence level and makes the mind unsure about doing a
simple work also. However, being in discipline leads us ahead towards highest

the plan. If we need to implement our strategy in right way about any task to be
completed, we need to be in discipline first. Discipline makes the things easy and
brings success in our life.
Parents need to develop self-discipline habits as they need to teach their kids a
good discipline. They need to motivate them all time to behave well and do
everything at right time. Some naughty children do not follow their parent�s
advice, in such cases parents need to have patience to teach them discipline.
Conclusion
Everyone has different time and capacity to learn the meaning of discipline
according to the nature. So, never give up and always try to get in discipline, as
a small step taken today could make a big difference tomorrow. Discipline will
always make you a better human being and bring you closer to success.

within an ethical limit.

In a nutshell, we can say that discipline is the staircase through which a person
could climb towards the height of success in his life. It helps him to focus
towards his goal and does not let him deviate from his aim. Discipline brings the
perfection in an individual by training his mind with all the positive rules and
regulations which makes him as a respectable person in the society.
In professional life, a disciplined person is the one who is given the best
opportunities first as it is believed that he could carry out the tasks in a more
responsible and disciplined way as compared to the person who is undisciplined.
Discipline also helps to add an exception dimension to the personality of an
individual and highlights him as a unique person wherever he goes by leaving a
positive impression in the minds of the people.

�Discipline� is the word which covers a vivid range of words- punctuality, control,
self-restraint etc. Literally, discipline is a mode of certain rules and
regulations in life. It is a method of self-control. This control is not imposed
upon the individual. It must come from within. Hence, discipline is a congenital
response to authority in an obedient manner.
According to modern thinkers the meaning of discipline is large and wide. In modern
days, the objectives of education are to develop sociability in child to improve
her/his nature and behaviour. The internal and external discipline should be
developed in every individual for the development of physical, mental, social and
ethical values in their life. They will grow as true and responsible citizen of
their nation.
Importance of Discipline
The great thinker and philosopher, Aristotle once said, �A nation is not built by
its mountains and trees, for withstanding it is built by the character of its
citizens�. This statement is seemed true in this context. When the citizen of a
country will follow discipline they will be able to lead their nation on the path
of progress and prosperity.
Necessity of Discipline
In Intellectual life
Discipline is proportionally compulsory for intellectual life. This intellect must
function under a strict control. For example, if a man is unable to concentrate on
any one topic, he can�t learn anything. But a man who accepts discipline in an
intellectual sense, he is sure and certain to achieve her/his desired objective.
In spiritual life
Discipline is necessary for our spiritual life too. The spiritual activities are
guided by a system which is termed as religion. There, a person is abide by the
rules of the religion that she/he follows. She/he has to follow all the rule and
regulation of her/his religion in a disciplined way. Festivals are celebrated on a
fix day and fix season. A person follows the fixtures and does the usual in a
disciplined manner.
In military
Discipline is the supreme priority in the military life, especially in the
battlefields. The order of the commanding officer has to be obeyed, without
thinking of its consequences. For the soldiers who march to the battlefield, the
motto is:
�There�s not to reason why, There�s not to make reply, There�s only to do and die�.
In schools
At school we follow the order of our principal and teachers; because discipline
always shows the road to success. In schools, there is a fixed time-table. A
student enters, studies, and leaves for the home accordingly. She/he has to
complete the stipulated task in the time provided and follow the given
instructions. There she/he learns the value of time and the rules of life in a
strict atmosphere.
At home
A well disciplined family is always honoured in the society. As we know family is
the first university in human life. So discipline must be trade on heels. We learn
many things from the elders of our family. We see how responsible our parents are.
They do their work in time. Father goes for office or his business establishment on
a fixed time and mother is busy in completing her household chores to keep the home
tidy and preparation of meals according to the needs of every member on usual time.
In the society
At public places a disciplined person is always admired. A person, who reaches on
time, is appreciated by the people. Paying bills on time, waiting for her/his turn
in queues, and to follow the traffic rules are also good traits for an individual.
In personal life
True discipline lies in a conscious and natural docility of self to the achievement
of some higher goals. A person must abide herself/himself in a fixed routine. It
can�t be compared to slavery. First it may appear painful but if it is followed for
some days, it will become a habit.
Conclusion
Discipline keeps a great importance in the life of a human being. It brings order
in our life and helps in many aspects to achieve certain goals and objectives. It
inculcates many qualities in life such as better understanding, tolerance,
punctuality, responsibility; and boosts the moral values in the life of an
individual. When we peep into our past; we see that only those civilizations had
survived long who followed discipline.
