Portfolio Output No. 9: My Stress Signals

1.How do you know that you are stressed?


I know that I am stressed when I become very irritated towards anything. I also get hopeless and
depressed whenever I get stressed. Also, certain mood changes can also be observed in me.

2. What stress signals do you have that your partner does not have?
Some stress signals that are different from my partner are excessive sweating, mood changes,
irritability, and depression. Those are some signals that partner doesn’t possess.

3. How much stress do you think you are currently under?


Personally, I can say that I am under heavy stress due to all the tasks and work that I need to do
in school and at home. However, I believe that there is still more that I may face in the future.

4. How are your stress signals different for different types of stressors?
My stress is dependent on the intensity of the threat that is perceived and the situation that I am
in. When intense stress is faced, more changes occur in my body when compared to lesser stress.

5. What are some ways that you usually remove or reduce the stress that cause you physical,
emotional or behavioral difficulties?
A few ways to ease the stress and other difficulties that I do include relaxing and doing things that
calm my mind like watching TV and other programs. I also like to allot time to my personal hobbies
like playing to remove the negativity in me.
