INTRODUCTION
This Teambuilding Program is proposed to provide realistic experiences that empower
individuals to contribute to the common goals of the organization. Activities in this program aim to
motivate participants and pool their talents and perform at their best individually and as team players
when they go back to their respective work assignments. During the conduct of this program, the
following general objectives are expected to be developed:

• Communication and working better


together

• Collaboration and the fostering of


innovation and creativity

• Celebration, team spirit, fun, and


motivation

• Competition and bragging rights

• Teamwork and boosting team


performance

• Networking, socializing, and


getting to know each other better

Taking employees out of the office helps groups break down political and personal barriers,
eliminate distractions, and have fun. It is therefore recommended that this Teambuilding will be
conducted offsite or anywhere outside the company premises, maybe in the beach or mountain resort.

Biosketch of Resource Person

EDGARDO “EDGAR” L. ALBIA, MBA-EXEC.

Mr. Edgardo L. Albia, MBA-Executive, is a seasoned trainer/facilitator for Teambuilding,


Organizational Behavior, Ethics and Work Values, Supervisory/Management Development,
and Effective Communication.

He is an HR practitioner for the last 25 years and has made significant contributions to the
following local/multinational organizations: Global Business Power Corp., Mastercraft
Philippines, Inc., Budget Builders, Inc., Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, Prego Praxis
Philippines, Inc., Maitland-Smith Cebu, Inc., Clear Export Industries, Inc., and Mindanao
Rattan Corporation.

He was also a Guidance Counselor at the University of San Carlos – College of Engineering
(1985-1989) and a Grade School Teacher at the USC Boys’ School (1980-1985). On February
12, 2008, he received a certificate for completing a six (6) week-course on EU (European
Union) Export Marketing & Management for Local Experts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

He is an MBA for Executives graduate of Southwestern University and has a Certificate in


Special Education from the Cebu Technological University (2011).

Currently, he teaches at the Business Administration Department of the University of San


Carlos, handling subjects related to Human Resource Management and Development. He also
accepts in-house training on the said subjects from the industry, academe, and non-government
organizations.
