Classroom Expectations

1. Come to class prepared in every way to learn and participate.

2. Turn off and put away EVERY personal electronic device.
3. Never give up.
4. Be respectful.
5. Listen and follow directions.
6. Always do your best.

Homework
When homework is given, it should be turned in on the day it is due in the Assignment turn in folders on the
back wall. Homework provides a wonderful opportunity for you to improve your overall grade. Homework is
not accepted late and will result in a zero. Homework must be turned in with all work shown to receive full
credit.

Make-up Work
If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make up the assignments or tests you missed when you return. I
will place all assignments in the absent work folders in the back of the classroom.

Materials
You should always have the appropriate materials for class, such as pencils, pens, and paper. In addition:
 Your notes journal can be any type of bound journal or spiral. It will stay in the class.
 In addition, you need to have a lab journal by Wednesday 8/21/2019; lab journals are to be left in the
class shelf. Putting your lab journal on the shelf is the way you turn in your lab for the day. Failure to
have labs in a bound journal will result in a deduction of 30 point.

Help
I am always available immediately following school to answer any homework or classwork questions.
Furthermore, I am available before school to answer any last-minute questions. If you need help, please do not
hesitate to ask. I am also available by e-mail at any time, though I will not answer e-mails sent after 9:30pm
until the next weekday.

Classroom Procedures
When entering the classroom there will be a bell ringer on the projector. Students will have to complete the bell
ringer and it will be checked every few weeks in your notes journal. Students are expected to participate and be
engaged in class every day.
