Aluminium Housed Power Wirewound Resistor Style RFH 1000 & RFH 1400 & RFH 1900

This document provides specifications for three aluminum-housed power wirewound resistor styles: RFH 1000, RFH 1400, and RFH 1900. The key specifications listed include power ratings from 1000W to 1900W, temperature rise from 380C to 410C, resistance ranges from 6.8 to 300 ohms, and tolerance of ±5%. These resistor styles are designed for applications requiring high reliability at temperatures over 400C, such as brake resistors, inverters, snubbers, and large capacity discharge.

1.FEATURES

These types of resistors are an implementation of the series RFH 350÷1100. They
are a range of good quality products with a case in aluminium, designed to achieve
a good level of protection (IP54) and a good dielectric strength.
The special construction technology makes use only of inorganic materials so as to
permit confidence of use beyond 400°C and to ensure a good endurance to
adiabatic impulses and to thermal dissipation.
These characteristics and the mounting facility make this SRF style an appropriate
choice where high reliability is required even in heavy duties as:

- Brake resistors - inverter - snubber

-very large capacity discharge
This type of resistor doesn’t need the use of a heat sink.
