Testing and Radiography: 10% of circumferential butt welds shall be 100% X-Rayed in compliance with ASME B31.3
Inspection Hydrotesting: Per ASME B31.3: Butt weld piping shall be tested at 1.5 x MAWP for a minimum of 10
minutes, small bore SW or threaded piping is leak tested to 100 psi with air.
Post Weld Heat Treatment: Not required below 14”
Additional testing as required by Client Specifications
Notes: 1. Valve body material to be A-105 or A-216,
2. Ball valves not recommended above 200°F, use gate valves.
3. Full port valves to be designated by FP after tag number.
4. See Table A-01 for piping system branch connection.
