Handling Unit Setup

This document outlines the steps to setup handling units (HUs) in EWM, including: 1) defining number ranges for HU identification, 2) packaging material types and assigning number ranges, 3) packing groups for products, 4) allowed packaging materials for groups, 5) HU types, 6) HU type groups, 7) HU types for each warehouse, 8) number ranges for HU identification, and 9) assigning number range intervals to packaging materials. The key is to maintain packaging and packing definitions consistently between ECC and EWM systems while mapping the internal and external number ranges between the two systems.

Example in ECC internal number range is 01, external number range is 02 this same number range in EWM internal
number rage is 02, and external number range is 01)
