FONT TYPE, SIZE AND LINE SPACING
Times new roman size 12, 1.5 spacing justified on both ends other than the title.
➢ Main title (level 1)-font 14 bold
➢ Subsidiary title (level 2)-font 12 bold
MARGIN SETTINGS
Setting A4 size paper (inches)
Top 1.5
Bottom 1
Left 1.2
Right 1

HEADINGS
Headings are set flush against the left margin. The text following a heading will have no blank
between it and heading
BULLETING AND NUMBERING
Use round solid bullets for lists or use the numbering command in the tools menu
EQUATIONS
Use Microsoft word equation editor. Number equations consecutively, place the equation in the
centre with the number at the end of a line between parentheses using right alignment. Refer to
equations by these numbers in the document
TABLES
• Headings of tables should be at the top and numbered consecutively and aligned to the
left of column and start with capital letter.
• Type all text in tables in small type (font size 10)
FIGURE AND PHOTOGRAPH CAPTIONS
Use 10point size time new romans, italic. Place the caption underneath the figure. Photograph
should be treated same way as line drawings. Number them consecutively in the order in which
reference is made to them in the text
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Should state concisely the most important propositions of the report as well as the views of the
practical implication of results.
REFERENCES
At the end of the report, list all references in alphabetical order by first authors name or any
standard format
PRINT OUT
Final report should be printed in an A4 paper size back to back. (both sides)

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
• One hand copy spiral bound & a Soft copy in CD.
• Signed declaration page signed by students and supervisor
• Separate abstract page prepared as follows
✓ Name and Reg. number of candidates
✓ Project title
✓ Summary of report not exceeding 20 lines
✓ Key words (not more than 5)

NB: Deadline for submission Will be by 17th July, 2019.
