Computing Fundamentals: Assignment 03


Due Date: 2 December 2014

Instructions for submitting:


1- Submit your assignment on TunrnItIn.com.
2- Please ensure that on the TurnItIn, your name is exactly the same as it appears on your
Attendance. Your assignment may not be marked and graded if not complied.
3- Maximum of 20% match is allowed for the assignments. Marks will be deducted after
that.
4- Late assignments will not be accepted. No excuse for network, electricity, computer or
personal problems. You may submit the assignment earlier if you like.
5- The Assignment must be written in MS-Word.
6- Clearly write your name, enrollment number, class, subject-title, date and the assignment
number on the first page of assignment.

Q-1. Why were first and second generation computers more difficult and costlier to
produce commercially than computers of subsequent generations?
Q-2. Write the full abbreviations of the following terms used in computing:
