This year 2016, it was held at Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Hotel, Makati City,
Philippines last May 13-14, 2016.
Selected members of the ENACTUS Team – PSU Main Chapter namely, Jade Anne
Alambro, Fanny Blasselle, Ma. Jemaila Fay Ufana, Mark Loresto, and Josua Salgado together
with the ENACTUS executive faculty advisor & former adviser of Young Entrepreneurs’
Society, Ms. Rose C. Aquino participated in the event.
The team landed in Manila at around 9:00 a.m. of May 11 and checked-in at the Palawan
State University (PSU) condo at Regalla Tower.
On the second day of the team in Manila, they had lunch with the EEI Program Organizer
and Enactus Philippines Director, Ms. Vee. After the lunch, they had the one-on-one coaching
with Miss Vee.
Their third day was the first day of the EEI Training. They met the different Enactus
teams all over the Philippines. They got acquainted and enjoyed the whole day because of the
vital information and inspirations they acquired from the different speakers including the owner
of Hapinoy, Rags2Riches, and representative from Unilever Philippines.
On the second day of the seminar, the first part of the training was divided into four
break-out sessions with different topics. They learned something from this in which they can
apply to the project that the team had implemented in Bagong Bayan.
On the last part of the program, the founder of Enactus Philippines shared a talk and Miss
Vee announced and invited all the participants to be part of the 2016 Enactus National
Competition.
The knowledge and experiences that the team learned in the event were really useful, fun,
and unforgettable.

This three (3) days seminar, Palawan Negosyo Fare 2016 back to back with “Barakalan
sa Banwa” goes to Capitol was hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry Palawan in
cooperation with the Provincial Government of Palawan, City Government of Puerto Princesa
City, Small Business Corporation (SBC), Rotary Club of Puerto Princesa City, Department of
Science & Technology (DOST-Palawan), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR-Palawan),
Department of Agriculture (DA-Palawan), and other government agencies.
The event was held on June 15-17, 2016 at VJR Multi-Purpose Hall, Capitol Complex,
Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. There are speakers coming from Palawan, Mindoro, and Manila.
It was participated by the members of MSMEs, small business owners, start-up entrepreneur,
Local Government Agency (LGUs) from different Municipalities of Palawan, teachers, and
students.
At the last part of the program, they were inspired by the message given by the Assistant
Secretary of Department of Trade and Industry, Ms. Asec Blesila Lantayona.
It was real useful for all inspiring entrepreneurs especially the Entrepreneur students who
wants to pursue their dreams of having their own business.

It was the 29th of June, 2016 when the LEVELUP1617 Team conducted an Orientation
program exclusive for the freshmen, transferees and shifters who enrolled the BS in
Entrepreneurship course for the first semester of the Academic Year 2016-2017.
It was held at Palawan State University – Performing Arts Center. The program started at
10 o’clock in the morning and ended at 12:00 noon.
Agenda discussed include the course background, which was explained by the former
YES adviser, Ms. Rose C. Aquino, about the Young Entrepreneurs’ Society and its rules and
regulations which was shared by the President of YES, Mr. Josua P. Salgado.
College (College of Business and Accountancy) and University events were also
discussed.
At the middle of the program, the College of Business and Accountancy Dean, Dr. Carlos
Alfonso C. Salvador shared an inspiring message for the students of BS in Entrepreneurship and
told them the beauty of the course.

After the Freshmen Orientation which took in the morning of June 29, 2016, the team
used the afternoon time to have their 1st General Meeting for the Academic Year 2016-2017.
It started at 1:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm.
There were a presentation of the Accomplishment Report and Financial Report for the
past Academic Year 2015-2016.
Election of the new set of YES Officers for AY 2016-2017 was the main agenda of the
meeting.
Rules and regulations of the organization, proposed Organizational shirt, proposed IGPs
and projects, Acquaintance Party, and the EBE Simulation details, were included in the agenda.

This Academic Year 2016-2017, the College of Business and Accountancy only offers
the BS in Entrepreneurship course which means only the Young Entrepreneurs Society has the
freshmen members in CBA.
By the 30th of June, 2016, the University held the 2016 Freshmen Walk. The parade
started outside the University which ended at the Palawan State University gymnasium.
Upon reaching the University gymnasium, the Welcome Program was formally opened.

This rally celebrates the winning of the case of West Philippine Sea against China.
It was last July 12, 2016 at Puerto Princesa City Baywalk. Students of Palawan State
University including the officers and members of Young Entrepreneurs Society participated in
this activity. This is to show our support to our battle in claiming our own territory.

It was July 27, 2016, when this summit happened. It was held at the Puerto Princesa City
Coliseum.
This business forum aims to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs as well as would be
entrepreneurs to unlock their entrepreneurial intelligence and become successful in their chosen
fields.
After the program, audience were inspired by the talks of Dr. Carl E. Balita. Their minds
opened and became more motivated in their career.

speaker and the Entrepinoy guru anchor/host of the DZMM Radyo Negosyo Program, took a

Business Summit On Entrepreneurial Qoutient (EnQ) last July 27, 2016

It was the very first time that Google Developers Group (GDG) Philippines brought this
roadshow in Palawan. It was entitled Google I/O Extended Palawan.
Palawan State University chosen as the venue for this event. It took on 30th of July, 2016.
There are participants from Palawan State University including the BS in Information
Technology, Engineering, and BS in Entrepreneurship students and other courses. There were
also participants coming from Western Philippine University and other private colleges in the
City.
The event was fun and interesting. From introducing the Google products up to teaching
us to develop an application, websites, and system, it brings new knowledge and ideas to all
participants.

On 27th of August, 2016, from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM, the Party happened with a theme
“Coachella Royale”. Students of the College of Business and Accountancy proudly showed their
beautiful Coachella attires.
The seven (7) organizations in the college namely ECOSOC, JEC, JFINEX, JMA, JPAA,
JPIA and YES, prepared their unique photo booths. It was the booth of Young Entrepreneurs
Society (YES) won as the best booth that night.
Also in that night, the oath-taking of all the officers of different Organizations in the
college happened. But what the all students really want that night was the EDM Party, which
brought life to the whole college when it already began.

Palawan State University Intramural Meet is considered the longest celebration that is
being celebrated in the University every year.
This 2016, through the efforts of the University Student Council officers through the
leadership of USC President, Ms. Myka Mabelle Magbanua, it was celebrated successfully.
The event took on September 5-10, 2016. It was a six (6) days celebration full of fun and
exciting activities.
The Young Entrepreneurs Society actively participated in different activities/contests
prepared by the USC. They joined in the “Battle of the Booths”, Graffiti Contest, and “Ginoong
Binabae”. They were also sent their representatives in the street dancing competition and
selected sports activities.
During the event, some of the fourth year students of BS in Entrepreneurship who
undergo their business implementation, namely the FoodEver, Shake.Eat, Pinoy Street Food, and
Street Shack, entered the University to sell their products.
Also, during the event, the Organization (YES) conducted their Income Generating
Project for the first semester, A.Y. 2016-2017.
The event, in general, was better than before. It was fun, exciting, and cool.

The Entrepreneur’s Hub by the Young Entrepreneurs Society which is composed of two floors.
It was the highest booth during the PSU Intramural Meet 2016. It is made from recycled wood,
plastic, papers, bottle cups & box, bamboo, buho, nipa hut and other materials.
The concept of being high of the booth signifies that every entrepreneur must be on top, not to
ignore the people below but to help them rise and succeed through stepping on the stairs. It also
signifies of being a leader, an initiator to change the world for the better.

This three (3)-days event was brought by the Department of ICT (DICT) and Palaweño
ICT Association (PICTA), co-sponsored by Palawan International Technology Business
Incubator and Start-up Hub (Palawan ITBI). It took place at the PSU Performing Arts Center last
October 14-16, 2016.
Selected BS in Entrepreneurship students namely Jan Charlee Ligad and Ryan Narrazid,
and Marvin Sarol participated in the program.
Participants let identified problems that they’re keen on solving. While at the event, they
treated to stories of entrepreneurial successes and failures by the invited speakers. They were
exposed to different tools to generate and validate their ideas through active discussions and
consultations with teammates and mentors. Then, they presented their ideas in front of local
entrepreneurs, investors and leaders, and received critical feedbacks.

Pa-Raffle Sa Intrams 2016 is the biggest Income Generating Project of the Young
Entrepreneurs’ Society this first semester of the Academic Year 2016-2017.
On this activity, all BSE students were involved. The Organization (YES) required each
student to sell 12 bundles of tickets (P10/bundle) as their participation, support, and involvement
in the Income Generating Project of Young Entrepreneurs Society. Selling of tickets started at
August 1, 2016 and ended August 26, 2016. In the end, they remitted the sales of the tickets.
The draw held at the Entrepreneurs Hub (booth of the Org. during the Intrams) at 2:00
pm of the 5th day of PSU Intramural Meet 2016, August 9, 2016.

I. ALL BS in Entrepreneurship students (1st Yr. - 4th Yr.) are REQUIRED to sell 12 bundles of
tickets (P10/bundle) as their participation, support, and involvement in the Income
Generating Project of Young Entrepreneurs Society. Proceeds that will be raised from this
activity will be used for the projects of the Organization
II. Selling of tickets will start on August 1, 2016 until August 26, 2016. Each BS in
Entrepreneurship student should remit their sales (P120.00) to their respective
year/block representative on August 22-27, 2016. No Remit, No Clearance Policy applied.
III. Dropping of entries (tickets) will be on August 22-27, 2016 @ the designated drop boxes in
the College of Business & Accountancy premises.

by the body that SCOA will collect a fee amounting to five percent (5%) of the total collected fees of each
organization.
