I. Specific Objectives:
-Use there is/there are to name places in a town or city.
-Identify the vocabulary of places in a town or city.
-Practice the use of prepositions of place when giving directions.
-Learn basic phrases to ask and give directions.
-Recognize the parts of the body.
-State opinions about art.
-Distinguish different house parts and their corresponding furniture.

II. Goals to achieve:

-Create a description of the town or city where you live.

-Be able to give a word picture of their house or an specific room in it.

-Use the English language to provide or ask for an address.

Exercise 1

Make a description of the place where you live. Use there is and there are when
doing it. At least 8 sentences. Use at least three prepositions of place.

I live in Bo. Campo Sol, Choluteca. There is a football court near my house.
There are two big hotels Casa Real and Las Brisas. The boulevard is near. The
point That I said if you came to my house from the boulevard is Auto Yen a
place where sale oils and lubricants for cars, that is on a corner and your turn
to the right, and then you will see the court and turn to the right again, there is
a mini market in my house. Actually I don´t like where I live because is far
from the downtown, but I have another benefits like is near from my daughter’s
School, so I don´t have to wake up too early.

Exercise 2

This is the place where I work Banrural Center, is like a little mall, there are
stores, ice cream shops and a supermarket La Colonia. Choluteca is a little city
so is easy to come to this place, because is near of one of the municipality
markets, so all the buses stops in the corner, All from the other municipals and
from the colonies and neighborhoods around the city. Is a two blocks of the
Vicente Willliams Street, one of the principals streets in Choluteca. And in each
size streets connects the two municipals markets, here are called, New Market
and Old Market, so the Old Market is near from the mini mall where I work.
