5 logistics centers in Samsun, Uşak, Denizli (Kaklık), Köseköy and Halkalı were
put into operation.
The construction works are going on in 6 logistics centers in Eskişehir, Balıkesir,
Bozüyük, Mardin, Erzurum, Mersin (Yenice).
The final drawings and expropriation studies are going on for 7 logistics centers.

NEW LAW on SECTOR LIBERALIZATION

The  Law  No:  6461  on  Liberalization  of  Rail  Transport in  Turkey  was 
entered into force on 1 May 2013.

Main Objectives:
¾ Restructuring of TCDD as Infrastructure Manager
¾ Establishment of New Railway Undertaking (TCDD Transport JSC)
¾ Opening up of the railway sector for competition
¾ Arrangement of Public Service Obligations
