Authority (AERA)

Applications are invited for selection to the post of Secretary, Airports Economic
Regulatory Authority (AERA), an Authority to regulate tariff and other charges for the
aeronautical services rendered at airports, under the administrative control of the
Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

2. The details of age timit, Essential Qualification and Experience etc. along with
prescribed format for application are avaitable on the website of the Ministry of Civil
Aviation [www.civilaviation.gov.in]. The details can also be obtained on the website of
Airports Economic Regulatory Authority [www.aera.gov.in] and Department of
Personnel and Training [www.persmin.gov.in].

Authority (AERA)

The Government of India in the Ministry of Civil Aviation has constituted the
Selection Committeei for the purpose of selecting Secretary, Airports Economic
Regulatory Authority under Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India
(Secretary), Recruitment Rule'e,, ??12 ,, !

2. Applications are hereby inviteld for consideration of the Selection Committee


for selection of Secretary of the AERA in the Pay Band of Rs.37 ,400-67,000/- (PB-4
with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000) (pre-revised), from officers under the Central
Government:-

(A) (i) holding analogous posf on regular basis in parent cadre or Department; or

wn threi years'iervice in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular
basis in the sca/e of pay orRs. 37000-67000, Grade Pay of Rs. 87000 in P.B.- 4 (pre-
revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(B) having a minimum three (3) years' of experience in the field of aviation. Preference
'siall
be-given to the officers- with suitabte experience in airport economtcs and
management.

maximum age timit for appointment by deputation shalt be not exceeding 56 years as

3. The appointment shall be made on deputation basis, for a maximum period of


three years.
