Advancement of
Technology

The advancement of new technology
has been taking places since the beginning of
human history . From the invention of items like
spear and knifes made out of rocks and sticks to
aid in the capturing and killing of animals for
food ,to items like then first printing press and
the computer.
The advancement of technology has
been exceptionally fast in the 20th and 21st
century .With electronic technology and
machines being produced and improved all the
time, it was very likely that along with the
positive aspects of these new advancement,
people would also consider the negative aspects
and look to criticise new technology .A
combination of new technology plus a strong
desire on the part of major companies to
transform glass will affect nearly every category
of consumer electronics from smart phones to
tablets to desktop computers and offices.
Hundreds of companies and organizations are
working on the coming glass revolution but
there are four companies and one university
that announced their improvement recently.
GOOGLE SEBASTIAN THRUN appeared
on the Charlie Rose Program and demonstrated
Google’s project glass for the first time in public
. The technology involves special glasses , which
use glasses and minors to project a computer
display onto one eye cheating the illusion that
relevant information is floating in the air.
Wireless connectivity and artificial
intelligence enable you to conjure up facts see
things In context , send messages by voice and
even take pictures by blinking.
Apple is totally smitten with the ideas of
curved glass . Alplle even applied for a patent for
this , curved glass ceiling design. Rumors bagan
circulating in September after Taiwanese
magazine DigiTimes reported that Apple had
purchased of special purpose machines for
factory manufacturing of curved glass displays.
Mike Elgan wrote a column in this space
in October about Microsoft’s vision for the
future of ubiquitous computing which also be
see through . And in fact Microsoft developed a
prototype foe technology that uses transparent
displays called the see-through 3D desktop.
Gorilla glass , a technology invented by
Caming , has already changed the mobile
industry . But most consumers don’t know the
role Steve Jobs had in making that a happen .
The company also announced a new glass
technology that kills bacteria and viruses,
including scary antibiotic-resistant super bugs
.This will be great for medical tablets, possibly
for consumers.
Glass is shinny and causes glare, which
makes screens harder to read in bright light . The
glass MIT invented has a revolutionary surface
pattern made of nano scale cones of glass. Its
caned multifunctional glass. Its very clear,
without glare or reflection.
Nowadays, mobiles come bundled
with a lot of features. Its like many of the
gadgets are mixed together and made into a
single powerful gadget with the main features
of all. Mobile serves as an ipod for listening
music , as a digital camera for taking high
resolution of images, as a handyman for making
vidoes as a computer for browsing the internet
and playing games,etc. Through its not as good
as using the individual gadgets but still the
output is quite satisfying
But don’t judge iPhones , or any other
smartphones , by their covers. What inside has
evolved so much more substantially . With each
innovation in sensor technology and even
manufacturing materials, smart phones have
become capable of smarter and smarter tasks,
paving the way for the future technology of
mobile phones.
Based on industry research and
emerging technology , here are five predictions
for the future technology of mobile phones.

1 .The future technology of mobile


phones; Your phone will recognize you.
-For years, devices manufacturing have
seen exploring ways to beef up device security
while letting users bypass that pesky PIN .Many
devices now feature fingerprint or iris scanners ,
both of which have been proven to be hackable.
Facial recognition could become the new
gold standard for device unlocking, but as
smartphones sensors continue to evolve , your
phone might eventually recognize you without
scanning you. Instead, it will look for other
unique attributes , such as the tone of your
voice, the way you move or the pattern of your
pattern.

2 .Your phone will shift reality


Imagine shopping online and being able
to look through your phone to see exactly how
that new bookshelf would look in your office,or
what that new coat would look like on your son
or daughter.
As this technology continues to evolve ,
the next step is smartphones that don’t simply
capture and alter images, but also project them
into the real world . Digit projectors and
holographic displays are already in development
, reports T3 but it will likely several years before
this technology is inexpensive and reliable
enough for large scale use.
3. Your phone will be more durable,
flexible and even foldable
In a few years it will become very difficult
to break your phone, and you might finally be
able to fold up and put it in your pocket.
According to fortune, after years of hype about
flexible smartphones screens, this could be the
year that one finally hits the market.
4 .You wont need to charge your phone
as often, and you wont need a charger.
Battery life on mobile devices has always
been a chief complaint among consumers. With
each new model, manufactures attempt to
improve the battery, but they also add faster
processors, which drain more energy.
However your future phones battery, it
will certainly charge faster and probably
wirelessly, eliminating the need for a charging
port. Some devices manufacturers have already
made it possible to charge their latest devices
wirelessly, but so far the ports remain.
5 .You’ll use virtual buttons and virtual
assistants
Manufacturer have been expanding
screen size for years, but the smart phone of the
future will likely be all screen, with display
capability on the front, back and sides of
devices. That means no physical buttons, not
even a home button.
So, we might see some mind
blowing advances in the future mobiles!
What will our smartphone look like in
2050 beyond? These developments are
likely where the trends are heading put
disruption happens quickly. It’s
impossible to say for sure.
