Love is the thing that puts magic into our lives; it’s the thing that makes life amazing. It can help
you achieve greatness and it can also cause you to lose everything. Just like anything in life that you
love, you should throw yourself in to love with abandon. That’s what makes love beautiful.
Literary Device:
Sensory Images/ Imagery are what poets use to draw readers into a sensory experience. It
provides us with mental snapshots that appeal to our senses of sight, sound, taste, touch, and
smell.
Example: love is gentle (touch)
Metaphor is a comparison that is made directly or less directly. But in any case without pointing
out a similarity by using words such as “as” or “like”.
Rhyme is a repetition of similar sounds in the final stressed syllables (and any following
syllables) of two or more words.

understanding and appreciation for the lesson.
