This document defines and describes the variables that will be used in a study measuring senior high school students' perceptions of personal life values. The independent variables are sex and strand, which will be used to compare perceptions between male and female students and among the four strands. The dependent variable is the level of students' perception of personal life values in their department, which will be measured through a questionnaire and analyzed using measures of central tendency.
