USB Driver Installation Procedure:

1. Insert the power cable to the trainer and don’t switch it on right now. Insert the
Software CD to the PC.
2. Now insert the USB cable to the slot given on the trainer, and insert another end
of the cable to the computer.
3. After few seconds there will be a message on your computer screen “Found New
Hardware” and a found new hardware wizard will be displayed on your computer
screen as shown below.

4. In the above window select the option “Install the software automatically
(Recommended)” and press “Next”.
5. After the completion of that wizard open the property of the “My Computer” by
right clicking on it as shown below.
6. After that a new window will be appeared. Click on “Hardware”.

7. Now click on “Device Manager”.


8. Click on the “Ports (COM & LPT)”

9. Now click on “Ports (COM & LPT)”.


10. Now check the port where the “USB Serial Port (COM )” is detected.
11. If the detected com port is less than 10 then go the software and run is as you have
run previously for UART.
12. But if the detected com port is greater then 10 then rename it by following the
procedure given below.
13. Right click on “USB Serial Port”.

14. A new window will be displayed.


15. Click on “Port Setting”.

16. Now click on “Advanced”.


17. Now go to the Combo Box “Com Port Number”.

18. Select a new com port number (must be less then 10). And click on “OK”.
19. Click on “Yes” on the above window.

20. Again click on “OK” on the appeared window.


21. Now you can go to the software and run it using USB port.
