Navagis is a Google Cloud Premier Partner based in the USA with established branches in Japan,

Singapore and the Philippines. Navagis is a Location Intelligence company that empowers organizations
to leverage geospatial information to efficiently run their multiple operations via web and mobile
applications. Navagis software solutions are built using Google Maps technology and open systems to
integrate various information sources into a map driven common operating picture for the entire
enterprise.

To expand our Asia Pacific operations, we are in need of Solutions Developers to join our fast-growing
team. Successful applicants will have the chance to learn the Google ways of doing business and get to
work with Google developers around the world.

Responsibilities:
● Employee will be responsible for solution development and quality assurance testing in the
Philippines for Navagis key projects.
● Additional job duties and responsibilities will be determined by the Employee ’s direct manager or
members of the Management Team.

Basic Qualifications:
● Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional
Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering
(Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
● At least 3 year(s) of working or related experience is required for this position.

Primary Skills:
● Expert or Advanced Skills in developing Enterprise-wide applications
● Expert or Advanced Skills developing Web Applications
● Must display self-motivation and the ability to research new product and development trends,
respond with innovation to new technological problems and new product possibilities
● Excellent Communication Skills. Able to Communicate thoughts, ideas, and information of a
technical nature in a logical, organized, coherent and persuasive manner
● Expert or Advanced technical and programming proficiency, and demonstrate the ability to
manage multiple tasks and perform work on time.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Some keywords include: Android, Apache, AWS, Backbone, Bash, Bootstrap, code review,
Daemon tools, Emacs, GDAL, Git, HTTP, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, jQuery, Leaflet, Linux,
Nginx, PostGIS, Puppet, Python, SQL, SSL, unit test, Vagrant, GIS, and VirtualBox.
● Strong SQL and database development and management skills
● Experience with Android and mobile development

Travel:
● Less than 10% of the time

Other requirements:
