Week 4 Blog

The student learned that planning their film project requires careful consideration of timing and reliance on others. Issues encountered included drivers backing out of the car chase scene, requiring backup plans. Storyboards were completed to a high standard by drawing each shot from the script. Planning has changed due to location and equipment limitations, necessitating script alterations. Actors and crew have been well organized by booking them early. The student is on track for the week but needs to continue blogging to stay on schedule.

Week Four - Planning

PLANNING

What did you learn from your What I learnt from planning this week is how much of a
planning this week? tight amount of time that I have to try and complete all
of the shots that I have chosen to include in to my film
because some of them I have never done before like
filming a car chase.
I have also learnt how much I am relying on different
people that are from outside of collage to turn up to
be in my production.

What issues did you encounter Issues that I have in-counted is the drivers in my car
and how did you overcome chase scene not being available and then be
them? available so I need to find back up drivers and making
sure that they will defiantly be there.
Another problem that I have encountered is the date
that I will be filming on so that all of my actors can be
there on the serene days and and time but I have
overcome that by booked them early so that they
don’t double book.

How did you ensure that your I have made sure that I have got all of my story boards
storyboards were completed to a are done by doing reading over my script and drawing
high standard? the different shot that I what to happen in that time in
the story and also I have been drawing them at home
as well.

How has your planning Planning has change thought out by limitations with
developed/changed during the equipment and time limitations and location that I
planning stage? have to use because there was a scene at the start of
my film that I want film but I don’t have that type of
location available to film in I looked for one but was
unable to find one so is going to mess up the story a bit
so I need to to try and work out a solution for that.

How have you ensured your I have made sure that it is all to a high standard by
script/shooting script is of a high altering the story slightly so that I can defiantly film all of
detailed standard? the shots to a high standard instead of trying to film an
Extremely hard shot to a low standard I have made a
bit easier for my self so that it looks proper and not
rushed or not done propyl.

How well have you managed I have manage to get all of the actors that I need by
and organised your cast and booking them really early so that they can’t double
crew to be in available when you book and I have the safety that they will defiantly be
need them? there.
I have also booked back up drivers in case the people
that I originally booked is unavailable.
Are you on track for the week? If Yes all on track for this week I have every body booked
not, how far behind are you? and am ready for the filming week.
