III. Procedures
A. Motivation
The teacher shows to the students an example of a recipe, critique and a diary of a
young girl in order for the students to have an idea what a written discourse is.
B. Lesson Proper
C. Activity
The students will be grouped into 3 and they will list down an example of a written
discourse. It may be a phrase, phonemes, quotes or sentence.
D. Analysis
What is the connection/relevance of a written discourse in this subject?
E. Abstraction
The teacher will collate and discuss the students’ answers.
IV. Evaluation
Describes and explain a written text as a connected discourse.
V. Assignment
Study on how to distinguish between and among techniques in selecting and
organizing information.
