Backup Power
These commands allow the user to configure parameters for the power plugin.
l backup-power - Configure a slot to expect backup power to be present.
l no backup-power - Configure a slot to not expect backup power to be present.
l show backup-power -Shows information about a power plugin card.

Prerequisite
To enable backup power, you must configure slot 1 as pwr, using the following commands:
aos(config)# slot 1 pwr
aos(config)#
slot [<chassis>/]<slot> <module>
aos(config)# slot 1

backup-power
Configures a slot to expect backup power to be present.

Syntax
backup-power slot [<chassis>/]<slot>

Parameters
chassis
The chassis where the power card is.

slot
The slot number where the power card is.

aos# configure terminal
aos(config)# backup-power slot 1

no backup-power
Configures a slot to not expect backup power to be present.

Syntax
no backup-power slot [<chassis>/]<slot>

Parameters
chassis
The chassis where the power card is

slot
The slot number where the power card is

Example
aos# configure terminal
aos(config)# no backup-power slot 1

show backup-power
Shows information about a power plugin card.  If the chassis and slot is not given this
command will show information about all power plug-in cards.

Syntax
show backup-power [slot [<chassis>/]<slot>]

Parameters
chassis
The chassis where the power card is

slot
The slot number where the power card is

Command Mode
User EXEC / Privileged EXEC

Examples
aos> show backup-power slot 1/1
1/1 - Backup Power: expected Voltage: 45.853 V Temperature: 27.5
