RE: INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN ZONE LEVEL SCIENCE FAIR FOR YOUNG CHILDREN KL&
SELANGOR STATE 2019

With great pleasure we refer to the above matter.

On behalf of the Science Fair for Young Children 2019 organizing committee, we would like to thank you for
registering to participate in Zone Level Science Fair 2019 (ZLSF). We hope this year’s ZLSF would make the teachers’
workload lesser and give opportunity to all the schools to participate.

As we mention in the teachers’ training, below are the guidelines and rules to follow:

 Only one (1) team from each school is allowed to participate in ZLSF 2019.
 Each team should comprise of 3 – 5 participants.
 Students who are year 4 and year 5 are allowed to participate in ZLSF 2019.
 Students will be required to do two (2) hands-on experiment (1 hour and 30 minutes each) based on the set of
experiments given and answer the question paper provided.
 Students need to bring their own stationeries to answer the question paper.
 Student’s dress code will be school attire.
 Student’s identification card (MYKID) is required for the registration.

2. The top 3 schools from each state will receive cash prize of RM1, 000 (Gold Award), RM700 (Silver
Award) and RM500 (Bronze Award) along with medals for students and Trophy for the respective schools as token
of appreciation. All the participants will receive certificate of participation.

We are pleased to invite your school to participate in Zone Level Science fair 2019, as per detailed below:

Date : 27th April 2019, Saturday


Time : 8.00am to 5.00pm
Venue : SJK (T) Persiaran Raja Muda Musa, 42500 Perlabuhan Klang, Selangor.

Note: Breakfast and lunch will be provided to 5 students and 2 teachers from each school only.
