Lesson Plan in Arts 1

I. Objectives
At the end of the session, the Grade 1 Pupils should be able to:
1. Identify the two ways on how to make a scrapbook.
2. Make a scrapbook with family pictures.
3. Share the contents of their scrapbook.

II. Subject Matter- Making a Scrapbook

III. Materials
- PowerPoint presentation
- mystery box with pictures
- Little Story Creator app
- oslo paper
- family pictures
- stickers
- glue

IV. Lesson Proper


a. Motivation
• Show pupils a mystery box containing different pictures.
• Let the pupils pick up pictures from the mystery box.
• Ask the pupils to identify the event on each picture.
• Let the pupils paste the pictures in a big scrapbook.

b. Presentation
• Give the motive question, “What is a Scrapbook?”

c. Development of the Lesson


1. Show an example of a scrapbook.
2. Define what is a scrapbook

3. Show two (2) ways on how to create a scrapbook: actual scrapbook and digital
scrapbook.
4. Show the video “Scrapbooking with Tigger” to explain how to create an actual
scrapbook.
5. Follow the steps showed in the video.
6. Show how to create a digital scrapbook using the app “Little Story Creator.”
7. Let the pupils create their own actual scrapbook of family pictures.

d. Generalization
The students will be asked the ff questions:
1. What is a scrapbook?
2. What is the difference between an actual scrapbook and a digital
scrapbook?
3. Why do we need to create scrapbooks?

e. Evaluation
• Let the pupils show to the class their scrapbooks and explain how they
created it.
