DRAGON Quest Builder
There are not many trophies in this game, and the majority of them involve doing something in the game that you would or would likely
have done anyway. The only real problem comes from a speedrun Challenge that each Chapter has. This speedrun requires you to
complete a Chapter within a certain amount of days and if you fail, it means replaying the whole Chapter again which could take hours.
The good thing is, following a guide, this is easy to achieve on your 1st playthrough, along with the other Challenges.
The difficulty of the game is not especially hard, you begin weak on each Chapter as nothing transfers between Chapters but the
enemies begin weak as well. As you progress in each Chapter, you will gain better equipment, become stronger so each Chapter does
slowly get easier, but it's easy enough anyway.
Throughout the Chapters, the game does explain to you all the mechanics so I won't be explaining exactly how to do absolutely
everything as there is no need. I will be instructing however where to go, what to do next, what materials to collect on your current
Quest, when to craft a particular item etc. I will only step in and tell you 'how' to do something when it isn't that obvious within the
game, but these moments are rare. BUT, make sure you read the basics before you begin, as there is some very useful information
there.
Using this guide should save you a lot of frustration and will help you to complete the game quicker, which will then unlock all recipes
and Chapter locations in Terra Incognita mode (free mode). If you are serious about building in this game, I strongly advise flying
through the game because during the Chapters, you are restricted to that particular Chapters items/materials. Completing a Chapter
will unlock it's recipes and islands in the free mode, so eventually you can use everything in free mode with no restrictions and this is
where you want to take time building.
This guide will apply to both the VITA and PS4 versions, I have played both and there identical apart from the controls/graphics. I
haven't played PS3, but since the VITA and PS4 versions are the same, im sure the PS3 version is as well.
All in all, this is a fun game and to be honest, the road to Platinum isn't great but that road will allow you to unlock extra items for free
mode. You don't have to be insanely fast on the speedruns, you can still take your time so just follow the guide at your own pace and
enjoy yourself.

BASICS
Combat
Very basic in this game, you will soon get to grips with it, however, the controls are a pain. All the enemies have a cooldown after a
attack which will normally last a few seconds, this is the time when you attack. You only have one attack (another is unlocked later, but
is mainly used for mining) so it does get repititive, but the Bossfights are quite fun and they cahnge it up a bit.
Whenever a enemy attacks, move/jump away then move in straight after and begin attacking while they are cooling down, then after a
few secs, dodge again then move back in and repeat. Some enemies will have a few attacks and the enemies that do, the attacks seem
to alternate rather than be random. You will get to learn enemies attacks over time, and the timing in which they attack and cooldown.
If your unsure, just bait an enemy to begin until you have learned their attacks.
Due to the enemy cooldown, the combat is actually really easy if you just play it safe. Equipment does play into it, but the guide rarely
takes you into a fight your under-equipped for.
Items/Materials
Throughout the guide, I will be telling you to acquire a certain amount of materials while in a certain area or on track to a certain QM
(Quest Marker). You don't have to acquire the exact number I state, but you want close to this number, a lot of stuff I state more than
you need anyway just to be safe.
When looting plants for there materials, do not break every single one just in case you may need some more later, possibly acquired by
a SHOVEL. Not unless I state anyway.
Until your acquire your COLOSSAL COFFER (a giant storage chest), try to acquire only what I say because space is limited at this point.
The COLOSSAL COFFER is always the priority initially, and I will always instruct you to craft this at the earliest possible opportunity, you
can't craft it any earlier.
Another small tip about the COLOSSAL COFFER, when you do acquire it, you will likely have a lot of items already in chests. Rather than
take the contents out and transfer them to your COFFER individually, just destroy the chest so all the items drop, then pick them up and
they will go straight into your COFFER. Then just place the chest back.
Don't unnecessarily waste any items/materials, if it appears I have asked you to acquire a stupid amount, it's likely because there
needed later on in the Chapter. If you must use anything while not instructed in the guide, always try to leave a few of that material or
even more if you had a large number initially just to be safe.
When exploring buildings, you may find a lot of useful furniture, if you have the COLOSSAL COFFER collect as much furniture as possible
as these can easily be used to increase your points in your base. Especially SCONCES as these are all over castles, they take up only 1
block of space and give 100pts.
Food/Hunger meter
A lot of the items I instruct to collect are often used later so it's difficult to say exactly what to use for food.
Once you learn about the room types, I'd advise to always create a CRUDE KITCHEN as early as possible. This is because your Town
residents will use it to craft food for you so you won't even have to craft much food because your residents will do it for you.
When you do have to craft food to fill your hunger meter, craft something that uses a material that is easy to come by, a material that I
have instructed you to collect a high number of. And only craft what you need at the time, don't craft a whole bunch of food just in case
you need them materials for something else, and you may be acquiring some food soon anyway.
Equipment
Your weapons won't degrade fast, but your axes/hammers will, so always have a few of your current type on you just in case.
Your Base
The base is very important, and levelling this is required for Challenges. Not all enemies can destroy your base, but during battles, just
plan to keep all enemies away to be safe.
The most important instruction I can give is when your base advances a level, stop for a moment whatever your doing if possible. Now
remove all your doors and once all are removed, place them all back. This may sound daft, but the game has a strange base levelling
system, and this will cause you to acquire a lot of free points, you will see for yourself. You must apply this always in all Chapters
whenever you advance a level, honestly, this is really important, will save a lot of time.
Everything must be placed in your base, otherwise you won't receive points for it. You will learn in Chapter 2 how to farm, but in
regards to Trees, you will acquire tree seedling whenever you break a tree stump. Plant these seedling on brown earth blocks (no grass
on them) in our base and they will grow into trees within a few days. That way you can chop them down for then plant the seedling
again for a renewable source of WOOD.
Saving
The game has separate saves for each Chapter, however, the game has a profile save as well where it seems most your statistics are
saved. For example, you could load up a saved game, create a new room (which will add it to your room list), then quit the game
without saving. Now load the game back up and that room you just created will now be in your room list!
Always save regularly, if you make a big mistake, you can then reload your previous save and try again. Make sure you save before you
head to the beacon at the end of a Chapter, that way if you need to come back, you can do so right at the end of the Chapter with all
that same gear.
Speedrun
There are 5 Challenges for each Chapter, but the only missable Challenge is the Speedrun. I have given rough time stamps throughout
the guide so you have an idea about how many days you should have spent so far. If you ever seem really far off my advised timings,
reload a save and try for a better time.
The Chapters all allow at least a few days to spare if following this guide so you should be safe, but I will state at the start of each
Chapter, how many days you must complete it in so you know. You can check how many days have passed in the Misc option on the
menu.
Warping
Whenever your away from base, the quickest way back is to warp using CHIMAERA WINGS. This will all be explained by me or in-game,
but you should always have some of these on you as long as you don't use them sparingly and only when I say.
If you have a NPC with you, make sure they are with you and not stuck behind a rock or unable to reach you (you can jump gaps but
they won't) before warping. If they are not with you, they will stay behind and you will have to make your way back to collect them.
Time Penalties
If you die or warp using the option in the menu, the game will advance a day, so try not to die. This may sound like a problem, but you
can always spare a few deaths, just if you die to many times, a save reload may be the best option.
Sleeping also advances the day obviously, so never sleep unless I say to.
Rooms
Throughout the Chapters, you will have to create some rooms for the story and you will learn the majority of the room recipes here.
The game will explain the room creation process to you so I won't go to much into that. Room can be crafted and registered i Terra
Incognita mode.
If a room isn't registering and you are sure that everything is correct, check your walls. The game counts the blocks in the corners, you
cannot skip a corner so make sure all the corner blocks are present. There may also be a block missing somewhere along the wall that
you cannot see, make sure you check the walls thoroughly if any problems occur.
For the rooms, you will have to add certain items to create the targeted room, but in some cases there will be a few different types of
this item that you can use. This is the list of what will count as a certain item within a room;

doesn't fall into any category and if needed for a room, it's specific name will be given.
By the way, make sure you don't confuse a CHEST with TREASURE CHEST. [TREASURE CHEST] is the red type that you find items in
throughout the world and [CHEST] is the brown type you craft at a crafting station.
Final Words
That's pretty much all the important info I believe, anything else which is Chapter specific, I will mention at the start of each Chapter.
Just remember everything said above, otherwise you may create problems.
WALKTHROUGH
Misc Trophies
The following four Trophies are cumulative with large numbers involved so it's hard to predict exactly when these will pop. However,
you should easily pop these while following the guide, none should require farming endgame.
CHAPTER 1; Cantlin
Once you resume control, you will be taken through a brief tutorial. Complete each step of the tutorial by following the onscreen
commands but stop when you reach the part where you must place the blocks within the red highlighted areas.
Before you place the blocks, break the remaining white flowers here to gain some more WHITE PETALS and then create more HEALING
CREAM. Once done, carry on as instructed and once you escape the initial area, you will receive the Trophy;
Escape Artist
Now head to the beam of light in front, select the BANNER OF HOPE and use it on the base of the light, you use this flag to save and this
is your base. Shortly after a NPC will arrive, talk with Pippa. Complete the first Quest she gives you that is to repair the walls of a room.
Once done, talk to Pippa to hand the quest in and receive WHITE PETALS x 3.
Talk to her again to receive the next Quest to craft a TORCH, complete that then hand the Quest in to Pippa to receive BROKEN BRANCH
x 1.
Talk to Pippa again to acquire the next Quest. Once you have placed the Torch and created a room, you will receive the Trophy
Beginner Builder
Now hand the Quest in to Pippa to receive a SEED OF LIFE (do not use this, try to save it for the Boss). Talk to Pippa again afterwards to
receive the next Quest where she will advise you to gather some materials to create a STRAW MATRESS.
Now, rather than collect only the materials required, we are going to gather slightly more. DO NOT complete the current Quest until
you have done as I instruct here. Once you complete this Quest, time will begin, so we will do what we can now in order to save time
later.
Scattered around the perimeter of the base, you will see some grassy plants that don't reward anything when broken. There are also
slightly bigger grassy plants that reward GRASSY LEAVES when chopped. You will also see small branches sticking out of the ground with
a few leaves on them, when these are broken you will receive a BROKEN BRANCH. Some of the larger trees you come across that you
currently cannot damage, have some PLUMBERRIES (red apples sort of) on the floor beneath them. The Blue Slime enemies that are
jumping around nearby sometimes drop BLUE GOO when killed. In the lower parts, you will come across some mushrooms, destroy
these to acquire MARSHROOMS.
First acquire BRANCHES X 10 and WHITE PETALS x 30, then head back to your MASON'S WORKSTATION and craft OAKEN CLUB x 5 and
HEALING CREAM x 10. Now equip the OAKEN CLUBS, then level out the floor of your base by destroying blocks so your base floor is all
at the same level as the room you recently made. Don't destroy any walls in the process, leave them as they are, just level out the
ground. Once all level, fill in the small area that is 1 block below ground level to bring that to the correct level as well. Now quickly go
around your base and complete only any unfinished walls so they are 3 blocks high. Make sure the corners are filled as well as they can
be hard to miss, and make sure you leave a 2 block horizontal by 2 block vertical space along the walls for doors. Along the west wall,
leave space to be able to exit through here. By the way, place the MASON'S WORKSTATION down again after you break it and destroy
any rocks in your base. In the large room that you will end up with in the SW corner, divide this into 2 rooms, by placing walls along the
middle of 3 blocks high, don't forget to leave a 2 block wide by 2 block high space for doors in each room.
Once done, go and gather the some materials, but don't venture to far, keep the base in view. Be careful around the Dracky's (blue
round flying bat enemies) as these can soon drain your health and definitely avoid the Chimaera's (the larger winged enemies with
beaks, they can spit fireballs) for the time being. Discard (drop) anything in your base if you run out of space and DO NOT destroy any
pink flowers you come across. Collect the following (rough amount);
BRANCHES x 99
GRASSY LEAVES x 50
PLUMBERRIES x 50
MARSHROOMS x 30
BLUE GOO x 30
WHITE PETALS x 30
Once collected, discard everything into your base except for EARTH x 30+ and your HEALING CREAM (make sure you still have a few).
Now head to the NE corner of the map, do not collect anything along the way. Once in the far NE corner, you will reach a BONFIRE and
a CRATE, destroy these to acquire them then head SE from here. You will soon reach a room with a door. Break the contents here to
acquire a STRAW MATTRESS, STRAW DOOR, DILIPATED CRATE, BONFIRE and a NOTE, then keep heading SE following the coastline.
You will soon come to a square block of earth where you will see a speech bubble appear from inside, grab the TORCH from behind
then smash the earth and talk to the NPC trapped inside (Rollo). Once he joins your party, climb the mountain just W of you, make sure
you don't jump any big gaps as you climb otherwise Rollo won't follow you up. Once at the top, traverse the mountains and kill the
Chimaera's up here until you have acquired CHIMAERA FEATHER x 20. Once acquired, head back to your base and talk to Rollo once the
prompt appears.
Now carry on with your Quest from Pippa, place the STRAW MATTRESS that you found and create another to place. While your there,
place the 2 CRATES and the NOTE that you found in the same room as well. Once you have created the BASIC BEDROOM, talk to Pippa
to complete the Quest at which point time will begin and you will acquire BROKEN BRANCH x 2.
Talk to Pippa again straight after and give her PLUMBERRY x 5 which you already have or will be on the floor in your base, this Quest
will reward you with PLUMBERRY x 3 once completed and your hunger meter will appear.
Talk to Pippa again for the next Quest, then create a CHEST and talk to her again to complete the Quest and acquire BROKEN BRANCH x
2. Talk to her after for the next Quest and to acquire the PIPPA'S PICTURE BLUEPRINT. Now complete the blueprint, make sure you keep
it within your base and place it somewhere where it will not waste space. Now complete the blueprint, you should have the materials
already on you or on the floor in your base. Make sure the walls are 3 blocks high then once done, talk to Pippa to complete the Quest
and acquire COARSE CLOTH x 1. Talk to her again straight after and keep talking to automatically complete the next Quest (you have
already rescued Rollo), and acquire a SEED OF LIFE.
Now create CHIMAERA WINGS x 9 using the MASON'S WORKSTATION, then place everything in the CHEST except for the PLUMBERRIES,
CHIMAERA WINGS and the HEALING CREAM. Grab anything on the floor you may have left and place that in the CHEST as well, then talk
to Rollo to receive the next Quest and keep talking to complete it straight away and acquire BROKEN BRANCH x4.
Now talk to Pippa for the next Quest, then create a COOKFIRE, CHEST and a STRAW DOOR. Now head to one of the small incomplete
rooms and place the Quest items Pippa mentions in it (COOKFIRE, CHEST, STRAW DOOR) to create a CRUDE KITCHEN, Talk to Pippa
after to complete the Quest and acquire PLUMBERRY x 2. Now create SHROOMS-ON-A-STICK x3 using the COOKFIRE then talk to Rollo
to begin the next Quest, then give him the food you just made to complete the Quest and acquire SHROOMS-ON-A-STICK x1.
Now talk to Rollo to begin the next Quest which is to raise your base to level 2. Now create POTS x 5, a chest and a STRAW DOOR, take
the TORCHES out of your chest and head to a small empty room. Now place the POTS x 5, the CHEST, the TORCHES and the STRAW
DOOR to create a POT CHAMBER. This should also raise your base level to 2. Once your base is at level 2, break all the doors, remove a
piece off wall on the 1st room you made (you can't break the door), then once all rooms are destroyed, replace the materials back for
some easy points.
Speak to Rollo now to complete the Quest and acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Rollo should now have duel swords above his head, indicating
the next Quest is a battle. Now place everything in a chest apart from the TORCHES, PLUMBERRIES, HEALING CREAMS (make sure you
have a few at least) and CHIMAERA WINGS, then save your game and talk to Rollo to begin the battle, the enemies will attack from the
W.
After the battle, you will receive the BLUE TABLET FRAGMENTS. Talk to Rollo once back in your base to learn how to craft the BLUE
TELEPORTAL. Now talk to the new NPC (Larouche) that has appeared near your FLAG. Now craft the BLUE TELEPORTAL and then talk to
Rollo to complete the Quest and acquire COARSE CLOTH x 1. Afterwards, create a STRAW DOOR, then head to a slightly larger room
(not the biggest) and place the STRAW DOOR, a TORCH and the BLUE TELEPORTAL inside to create a TELEPORTARIUM. Now talk to Rollo
for the next Quest details then save your game.
Check your status and hopefully, at this point, you are still on day 0 (or 1 at the worse) so you are very good for time.
Hammerhood Heights
Now put everything in chests apart for the PLUMBERRIES, HEALING CREAM x8 (at least), CHIMAERA WINGS and BROKEN BRANCHES x9
then enter the blue teleportal.
As soon as you resume control, open the chest beside the teleportal and grab the BLUE NAVIGLOBE, place this somewhere next to the
teleporter so it appears on your compass. Now stand on the W side of the portal and look straight W, from here, head out at a 11 '0'
clock angle and you will very shortly come to a small structure made from earth which has a signpost outside and a bonfire burning
inside. Head to this and talk to the NPC inside, you will acquire a SIGNPOST and learn directions to Clobberina.
Now exit this hideout and turn and face straight W, then carry on at 11 'o' clock again. Straight away, you should see a tall earth
structure with a bonfire on top slightly in the distance, head to this collect IVY x30 by destroying some of the ivy growing up the
structure. Once you have 30, climb the outer stairs and talk to Clobberina inside the room in the centre.
After talking, head to the top to sort out her problem. Create 1 lot of CORD (which is x10), then create 1 lot of STRAW FLOOR (which is
x10). Place the STRAW FLOOR blocks inside the 3 holes in Clobberina's roof, then head back and talk to her. Head back to the MASON'S
WORKSTATION on the roof and craft GIANT MALLET x3 and equip one of them.
Now head back to the ground and collect FUR x10 by killing the Hammerhoods or Brownies (giant mallet enemies with brown or purple
coats), keep an eye out for the bigger Brownies and try to kill 2 of these for LEATHER SACK x2. Also, kill the Orange Slimes to acquire
ORANGE GOO x15 and destroy big rocks you come across till you acquire STONES x40.
Once you have acquired these, use a CHIMAERA WING to warp back to base and report your success to Rollo to complete the Quest
and acquire CHIMAERA WING x2. Keep talking to Rollo to acquire the next Quest to build a COLOSSAL COFFER.
Now head SE from the base slightly down the small hill and destroy the trees down here until you acquire PLUMBERRY LUMBER x30,
then head back to the base. Place your items in a chest apart for the usual, then create a POT, all the WOOD that you can and then
create a COLOSSAL COFFER. Talk to Rollo afterwards to complete the Quest and acquire BLUE GOO x5. Now place the COLOSSAL
COFFER in the a room, and give it a door and light source to create a room. Now speak to Larouche to acquire the next quest.
Now create STONE SWORD x2, WAYFARER'S CLOTHES x1, a LEATHER SHIELD, equip these, then head back through the portal. Collect
BUTTERBEANS x15 (at least, there the slightly taller of the green plants) from nearby then head W to the QM.
Once you drop down the cliff onto a grassy area, turn around and you will see parts of the earth wall that has orange and black stones
in it, this is COPPER and COAL. Smash a lot of these blocks until you have at least COAL x50 and COPPER x30. Once you have the
amounts I advise, warp back to base.
Back at base, create a FORGE, then place this in your last remaining room, and also give it a door and light source. Now place the FORGE
and create a batch of COPPER INGOT, then create COPPER SWORD x2. Now head back to the MASON'S WORKSTATION and create a few
HEALING CREAMS if your getting low and create a LEATHER ARMOUR and equip it. Now save your game and then head back through
the blue teleporter, you should now be on approx 2-4 days.
Now head W straight to the QM, once you reach the QM, first break the green bushes around the perimeter of the hideout to acquire
approx MEDICINAL LEAFS x10, also collect any WHITE PETALS from the white plants you find here. Then talk to the NPC and defeat the
2 skeletons that spawn, then talk to him again. Once the NPC (Kenelm) is following you, head outside and warp back to base, then back
at base, talk to Kenelm again. Now talk to Larouche to hand in the Quest and receive a SEED OF LIFE. Now, make sure you have a few
HEALING CREAMS, then talk to Rollo to enter the next battle, enemies will always attack your base from the W side in this chapter
during battles.
Stay outside along the W wall During the battle, and as soon as the leader appears, head straight to him and keep him away from your
base as he will damage it. Once the battle is complete, you will acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Afterwards, talk to the 3 townsfolk for the
Quests they are offering, we will complete Pippa's first.
Head to the COOKFIRE first and create a batch of MAGIC DYE, then head to the MASON'S WORKSTATION and create a POT and a LADY
SIGN. Now head over to the first room you built with the 2 STRAW MATTRESSES inside, then place the LADY SIGN and POT inhere to
create a PRIVATE BEDROOM. Now talk to Pippa to complete the Quest and acquire CHIMAERA WING x2, then talk to Pippa to acquire
the next Quest.
Now ignore Pippa's next Quest and head through the portal and head SW to the QMs, kill any Skeletons you encounter along the way,
to hopefully acquire some COARSE CLOTH. Shortly after descending the mountain when your reach the nearest QM, you will see a small
area with damaged blocks around the outside where the QM leads to. Head inside here and some stronger Chimaera's and a large silver
Scorpion will spawn. Try to lure the Chimaera's away and kill them first, then focus on the large Scorpion. Once all are dead, collect the
nearby crates, then climb the W mountain and head to the next QM.
On top of the mountain on your way to the QM, you will find some plain earth blocks (no grass on the top, just brown) that has Wheat
growing on them. Make sure you acquire at least WHEAT x30 before you descend the mountain towards the QM at the Castle. Once
you have the WHEAT and make your way to the Castle, first talk to the NPC standing on the wall outside the E of the Castle. Complete
the tasks he ask with the materials he gives you by filling in the blanks on the Stone Barricade, then defeat the monsters. Talk to the
NPC afterwards then destroy the SPIKE TRAPS and STONE BLOCKS to collect them then head inside the castle and report to Ranulph at
the QM.
After talking to Ranulph, before heading up the top to meet him, destroy and collect and nearby furniture/decorations. You should find
the following on the ground floor;
WOODEN DOOR x2
BARRELS x2
BOLD BANNER x10 (the red banners hanging atop the Castle pillars)
DRESSING TABLE
DECORATIVE SHIELD x2 (a large silver emblem, 1 is above the entrance, the other high above the centre area. You can acquire
the Shield high above the central area once you make your way up to the top)
Now head to the base of the stairs where Ranulph was, and make your way up to the top of the Castle, by jumping and placing earth
blocks beneath you at the same time. Grab the DECORATIVE SHIELD on the way up, be careful you don't fall down or destroy a block
your standing on. Once at the top, report to Ranulph on the NW spire, then grab the Quest item from the nearby chest then destroy the
TREASURE CHEST and collect it. Now carefully make your way across the roof to the SW spire and grab the CHIMAERA WINGS from the
chest, then destroy and collect this TREASURE CHEST as well, then warp back to base.
Hand your Quests in to Larouche and Rollo to acquire STONE x3, HEALING CREAM x5 and to learn the SPINING SLICE technique. Talk to
Rollo afterwards to begin his next Quest, place the STONE STOCKADE BLUEPRINT he gives you just outside base on the W side. Use
what STONE BLOCKS and SPIKE TRAPS you collected earlier, and create any remaining that you need using the FORGE. Once completed,
talk to Rollo to acquire FUR x3, then talk to Larouche to begin his next Quest.
Now create a SHOP SIGN and SCONCE, you should already have acquired a LEATHER SACK from a Brownie or Hammerhood. Once you
have all 3, place them on the wall in the STONEMASON'S WORKSHOP to create a STONEMASON'S STUDIO, then talk to Larouche again
to complete the Quest and acquire WOOD x3. Now break the FORGE and place it in the STONEMASON'S STUDIO to create a
BLACKSMITH'S STUDIO, you can fit it all in, you can place the LEATHER SACK, INN SIGN and SCONE on the 2nd level if needed.
Now you need to finish Pippa's Quest by crafting a ARMOIRE and placing it in her room. Hopefully you have 3 COARSE CLOTH to craft
this, if not you will need to head through the teleporter and defeat some Skeletons until you acquire 3, it's not a common drop so could
take you a few mins. Once able to, craft the ARMOIRE, then place it in Pippa's room along with any STOOLS x2 that you acquired from
the Castle. Talk to Pippa once you have created the DRESSING ROOM to acquire FRIED EGG x3, talk to Rollo next to begin the next
Quest.
If your base is not currently at level 3, place the TREASURE CHESTS x2 and the BOLD BANNERS x2 that you collected from the Castle,
and a CHEST x1 (standard chests that you craft) inside the room with the COLOSSAL COFFER to create a TREASURE ROOM and which
should give you enough points to reach level 3. Now at level 3, remove all the doors, then once all are removed, place them all back
down. Now talk to Rollo to complete the Quest and acquire a SEED OF LIFE.
Now talk to Rollo again to begin the next battle. Once it begins, just stand behind the STONE STOCKADE you made, and the enemies will
walk to it and take some damage, some may eventually reach you though. Once all enemies are defeated, you will acquire the RED
TELEPORTAL.
Talk to the new NPC that appears (Sheridon), and then talk to Pippa and Rollo to receive their new Quests. Now place the RED
TELEPORTAL inside the TELEPORTARIUM ROOM to create a TWIN TELEPORTARIUM.
Now head to the QM following the N coastline W. Along the way, kill any of the rabbits (Bunicorns) you find until you acquire a few
MEAT drops from them. While your following the N coastline thats headed W, eventually the coastline will bend around right and head
N, at this point, look W and you should see a small grassy area ahead. Go to this grassy area and talk to the old lady NPC here, then kill
the enemies that spawn. After defeating the enemies, talk to the old lady again to learn the BRICK BARBECUE recipe. Then smash the
table that was in front of her to acquire a MEAT FEAST and a DINING TABLE.
Now continue to the QM but now begin collecting IRON ORE along your way as well, IRON ORE are the blocks amongst the sandy
sandstone blocks with the dark gray smaller rocks inside. Sandy sandstone is the stripy blocks with a lighter colored surface. While your
following the coastline N as you head to the QM, once it bends to the right again and heads E, if you carry on N, you will reach the the
mountain in your front, and you should see two caves at the base.
You will find plenty of ore inside here. Once you have IRON ORE x50, leave it as that will be plenty, and head straight to the QM.
Once you talk to the fake NPC at the QM, kill the Knight Aberrant afterwards and loot its KEY, then use it to free the man (Magnus) from
the cell nearby. Once he is free, take him with you, but before you head back to base, head NE to the corner of the island. From here,
you should see a small island in the distance to the N. Follow the shallow water to the island and talk to the Brownie NPC in the centre
to learn how to make GRAVESTONES. Now warp back to base with Magnus.
Once back at base, talk to Magnus to acquire some new recipes, then hand the Quest in to Rollo to acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Talk to Rollo
again to acquire his next Quest then create 3 batches of IRON INGOT and craft the following;
IRON BROADSWORD x2
IRON SLEDGEHAMMER x2
IRON ARMOUR
IRON SHIELD
Equip these and then create a BRICK BARBECUE, you may have to craft a few other items to create this, but you should have the
required materials to do so anyway. Place the BRICK BARBECUE in a empty room, and then create a BUNICORN STEAK and a batch of
BREAD. Now use the BUNICORN and BREAD to create a BUNNY BURGER, then give the BUNNY BURGER to Pippa to receive FRUIT SALAD
x2. Now head through the RED PORTAL and head W straight to the pyramid at the QM.
Once at the pyramid, before you enter, kill the silver scorpions around it's perimeter until you have SCORPION HORN x3 total (hopefully
you already have 1 or 2). It's a uncommon drop similar to the COARSE CLOTH from the Skeletons so may take a few mins to acquire, but
you should also acquire some HEALING CREAMS from them as well. Once you have 3, enter the pyramid, and follow the corridors, BUT
keep a close eye on the walls you pass. After a few turns, you will reach a corner of a turn in the corridor where the wall is made from
earth. Smash this wall and follow the secret corridor behind it. Keep following the corridor and you should find some FEATHERFALL
FOOTWEAR within a chest up some ivy, and a FIREPLACE in a chest at the end of the corridor. Smash the TREASURE CHESTS afterwards
and collect them, and also grab SCONCES x40 (lights) off the walls along the way.
Now equip the FEATHERFALL FOOTWEAR (no fall damage) and head back to the original corridor and carry along the intended route.
Once you head up the stairs into the centre of the pyramid, first destroy and collect the BRAZIERS x6 (the small stands with the fires
burning), careful you don't step in front of an EVIL IDOL statue though. Now destroy and collect the EVIL IDOLS x2 statues, then quickly
escape. Don't try to attack any enemies as you can't defeat them, once outside, warp back to the base.
Now hand the Quest in to Rollo and keep talking to him afterwards to begin the next battle, assuming your ready. Defend the base, stay
behind the STONE STOCKADE if you wish and let this deal a lot of damage to the enemies. Get ready for when the Leader appears as he
will be able to damage your base so you want to keep him away. After winning the battle, you will receive a SEED OF LIFE.
Talk to Magnus and Kenelm afterwards to receive their Quests. First head over to the FORGE and craft the ORNAMENTAL SWORDS and
ORNAMENTAL ARMOUR, then place this in the DRESSING ROOM to create a ARMOURY, next talk to Kenelm to complete the Quest and
acquire MEDICINAL HERB x3. Next, head over to the BLACKSMITH'S STUDIO and create a FURNACE then hand the Quest in to Magnus
to receive COAL x5.
Now head over to Larouche and grab the Quest off him, place the WATCHTOWER blueprint down somewhere and then create the
blueprint. Once completed, talk to Larouche to acquire IRON INGOT x3, then talk to Rollo to receive his Quest and the STEEL STOCKADE
blueprint. Now destroy the STEEL STOCKADE you created earlier and collect the materials. Now place the FURNACE in a room that you
have space in, then craft 4 batches of STEEL INGOTS and then craft the following;
STEEL BROADSWORD x2
WAR HAMMER
STEEL SHIELD
STEEL DOORS
BARRICADE x10
Now equip the STEEL equipment you just crafted, then place the STEEL STOCKADE blueprint where the STONE variant used to be and
then complete it. You will have to remove a small part of the wall at the end in order to have the EVIL IDOLS facing the direction in the
blueprint, then place the blocks back afterwards. Talk to Rollo once done to complete the Quest and acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Keep
talking to Rollo to acquire the next Quest which is to get your base to level 4, you may still be a few thousand points off this, but it
won't be hard since you have been looting a lot of furniture/decorations.
First, place one more TREASURE CHEST (the red chests) in your COLOSSAL COFFER room so now you should have the following inside;
COLOSSAL COFFER
BOLD BANNER x2
LIGHT SOURCE
These will create a TREASURY, awarding you some more points. Now place the FIREPLACE you collected earlier in a room, and then just
keep placing the SCONCES on the bottom and 2nd level in rooms until, you progress to level 4. Once you are level 4, remove all the
doors, and once all are removed, place them all back down. Then talk to Rollo to receive STEEL INGOT x3, then keep talking to him to
begin the next battle assuming your ready.
Defeat the enemies as per normal, trying to keep the Leader away from your base when he appears. After the battle, talk to Sheridon
to learn how to create WRECKING BALLS, then place the FREEN TELEPORTAL inside the TWIN TELEPRTARIUM to create a TRIPLE
TELEPORTARIUM. Now talk to the new NPC (Carla) that has appeared near the BANNER. Now make sure you have at least IRON INGOT
x2 and CORD x2, create them if not, then destroy the MASON'S WORKSTATION and take it with you, create some SHROOMS-ON-A-
STICK if your getting short on PLUMBERRIES (or check the chest in the crude kitchen), then save the game.
Rockbomb Ravine
Head through the GREEN TELEPORTAL, open the standard nearby chest and place the GREEN NAVIGLOBE from inside on the floor
nearby. Now follow the left path through the mountains in front, taking a note off any large deposits of ORICHALCUM (the blocks with
yellow stones inside that you will see along the walls of the mountains) you pass. Be sure you obtain MEDICINAL LEAFS from the green
bushes you pass until you have at least 20 and also grab some FINEST FUR x2 along the way by killing the Purple Bunicorns.
Your main task here is actually to kill any Rockbombs you encounter in order to aqcuire ROCKBOMB SHARDS. When you are attacking
the Rockbombs, when their health drops quite low, they will begin to glow purple, you must quickly kill them at this point before they
explode, they won't attack or move during this phase so you can just stand next to them and repeatedly attack.
Once you have acquired ROCKBOMB SHARDS x6, place the MASON'S WORKSTATION and craft WRECKING BALLS x20. Now go back and
destroy any ORICHALCUM you spotted with the WRECKING BALLS until you have obtained at least ORICHALCUM x30. You should
acquire quite a lot of OBSIDIAN during this as well this is the dark blocks the mountains are made of. Try not to use too many
WRECKING BALLS though, you need to save about 12, and don't stay to close when you place them as they have a large blast radius and
will kill you. Once you have the advised amount, warp back to base and talk to Sheridon to acquire a SEED OF LIFE.
Now talk to Pippa to acquire her Quest, now create some MEDICINAL HERBS until you have at least 5, then give them to Pippa to
complete the Quest and obtain MEDICINAL HERBS x7 in return. Now talk to Rollo to receive the next Quest, and talk to him afterwards
to learn some extra details about it. You already have the ORICHALCUM, so we now need to head through the RED TELEPORTER, but
before heading through, craft a FULL PLATE ARMOUR, equip it, then smash a EVIL IDOL and grab it, and then head through the Red
Portal.
Loot it's body afterwards for the GOLEMITE. You only need GOLEMITE x3, so kill 1 or 2 large Golems until you acquire the 3. Once done,
keep heading NW and you will eventually find a large Dragon asleep in the centre of a large flat area, look at your overhead view from
time to time to make sure you haven't gone past it.
Once at the Dragon, place the EVIL IDOL beside it, facing it, not to close though but close enough so the flames reach, the Dragon
doesn't actually move, just rotates. Now you can either attack it yourself, or move to a safe distance and let the EVIL IDOL kill it. Either
way, once it's dead, grab the EVIL IDOL, loot the DRAGON SCALE from it's body, equip it, then warp back to base. Now head to the
FURNACE, craft the CANTLIN SHIELD then report back to Rollo to acquire IRON INGOT x5.
Now before you do anything else, craft GRAVESTONE x2 then head through the BLUE TELEPORTAL. Head SW, and shortly after passing
Clobberina's hideout, you will come to a small pit with a square graveyard at the bottom. Head down here and talk to the Hammerhood
NPC, then remove the 2 misplaced stones, and place the 2 GRAVESTONES in there place. Once done, talk to the NPC, then grab the
SEED OF LIFE from the Chest.
Once done, exit the pit and keep heading SW, past where you fought the large Scorpion, up the mountains and all the way to the far SW
coast. Once you reach the coast cliff edge, follow the coast West and then North as it begins to head that way. You will pass behind the
Castle and shortly after following the cliff edge N, you should come to a Large Dragon so keep an eye out for it. Kill this Dragon the
same as before, then loot it for a FIREPLACE, grab your EVIL IDOL back and warp back to base.
Back at base, craft a SHOVEL then head SW until you reach the last of the three Dragons, but use the SHOVEL to dig up at least ANY
FLOWER x10 and ANY PLANT x5 along the way, the SHOVEL keeps the PLANTS/FLOWERS in one piece. Once at the Dragon, kill it, then
loot it for a COMFY SOFA, grab the EVIL IDOL and as long as you have the PLANTS/FLOWERS I advised, then warp back to base.
An example of a FLOWER would be a MILKBLOSSOM (the flower that you acquire WHITE PETALS from)
An example of a PLANT would be a STALWORT (the PLANT that you acquire GRASSY LEAVES from)
Then craft 1 batch of BUTTERMILK at the BIRCK BARBECUE and then craft CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP x5, consume one of these per
battle to increase your Defence slightly. Now save your game and then begin the next battle by talking to Larouche. After the battle you
will receive a SEED OF LIFE.
Talk to Larouche again afterwards to begin the next battle. After this battle, you will gain another SEED OF LIFE, talk to Larouche again
to complete the 3rd battle. After this battle, you will receive another SEED OF LIFE.
Now, as long as you have a few days left still, save the game. Now craft a BENCH and then head to the NE corner of the base, from here,
head out the of base very slightly NE down the hill just ahead and to the small patch of water that you will see amongst the trees.
Now look at the nearby trees, you will see that there are 3 sizes, a small, medium and large. Place a 2 block high wall from ground level
around the medium tree closest to the water (just destroy any other sizes if there in the way), so that the wall has at least 8 blocks of
water inside and about 25 free blocks of land inside. This is just an approximate, it can be slightly larger if you wish. Creating this wall
will use up perhaps a full stack of earth, so make sure you have some handy which you should, dig some up if not and bring it back here.
The 8+ blocks of water are obviously 1 block below ground level, make sure the water has a wall all the way around, not just the 2 block
high wall, make sure the bottom part of the wall is filled in as well. Essentially, the top of the wall is level all the way around, but
because you have water, you must make sure the ground level blocks are all filled in as well around the wall otherwise the room won't
register.
Once the wall is created, you should have a medium size tree inside, at least 8 blocks of water and at least 25 free blocks of flooring to
play with at ground level (The water is 1 block below ground level). Now place the FLOWERS x10 and PLANTS x5 that you acquired
earlier, on the floor. Next place a BRAZIER and a BENCH, and lastly, knock a few blocks out of the wall at ground level (not next to the
water), and place the DOOR. If done correctly, you should now receive a notification that you have just created a CANTLIN GARDEN. If
not, you have made a mistake somewhere, as long as you have a medium sized tree, all the items I mentioned to place inside and the 8
blocks of water, then the problem will be your wall. Look at it again and make sure there isn't a hidden block missing at ground level or
in the corner or something.
This Cantlin Garden is incomplete, as you can see, it has 2 blocks missing on the bottom right of the visible wall. You must make sure all
wall blocks are filled in including corners, even the bottom base blocks at water level.
Once you have created the CANTLIN GARDEN, head back to base. Now quickly get your base to level 5, you shouldn't need much points
so the quickest way is to knock some doors down to your rooms. Then dig 2 blocks below the doorway, then place a door in the hole
you dug and another door on top. Because you have been making your walls 3 blocks high, the top of the top door will be in line with
the top of the wall. This will double your room points assuming no wall blocks are missing at ground level.
Do this for 1 room at a time until you reach level 5, once you have, knock any stacked doors down, replace the 2 blocks and then place
the single door back.
Now save your game, you should now be on about 15-17 days or less. Before you do anything else, head out N slightly and find a flat
part of land about 50 blocks from your base. Now dig a hole 2 blocks deep, and 3 x 3 in shape, then climb out by breaking some blocks
on the wall, then replace the wall blocks once your out, leaving the hole empty. Now locate nearby Blue Slimes and touch them to get
their attention and lure them into the hole. You need to lure 8 enemies into the hole, you will perhaps find about 6 Slimes, and the
other 2 will likely have to be Dracky's that you will find in a nearby foresty area. Don't venture to far from the hole or the enemies
trapped inside will despawn, you can get away with approx 100 blocks away.
Once you have 8 enemies trapped inside, place a WRECKING BALL inside by placing it below ground level. Hold R1 and place it so that it
sticks to the side of the wall below inside the hole, then quickly move away. Assuming the WRECKING BALL has killed all 8 enemies, you
will acquire the Trophy;
Enemy Miner
If this didn't pop for any reason, exit and reload the last save you made and retry, it should work though as long as you don't place
more than 8 enemies inside. I found if you placed to many enemies inside the hole, some would survive the blast somehow. Once your
finished, exit and reload your recent save to get the time spent and WRECKING BALL back, then continue on with the guide.
Now make sure you have your SEEDS OF LIFE on you (You should have quite a lot now), at least 6 WRECKING BALLS, a CREAM OF
MUSHROOM SOUP and the CANTLIN SHIELD. Equip the WAYFARER'S ARMOUR as this slightly increases movement speed then talk to
Rollo to begin the BOSS BATTLE.
BOSSBATTLE
Golem
A fairly straight forward BOSS, but it can destroy your base. Basically, use your CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP straight away to improve
your defence, then head straight to the W side where the GOLEM 1st attacks from. Place the CANTLIN SHIELD inbetween the GOLEM
and your base as he is charging up, and he will throw a boulder which will hit your shield and break. If you don't place your CANTLKIN
SHIEDL in time, the boulder will roll straight through your base damaging it.
After you have stopped the 1st boulder, quickly grab the CANTLIN SHIELD and run to where the GOLEM is going to throw his next
boulder and place the CANTLIN SHIELD in the way again. Repeat this and after stopping the boulders 3 times, the GOLEM will attempt a
spin attack. Place the CANTLIN SHIELD again at this point to stop him and he will eventually become dazed.
At this point, place a WRECKING BALL by the outside of his left foot then move away. This will knock the GOLEM down, now place a
WRECKING BALL just beneath his stomach beside his knees and move to safety. After you have damaged him, he will summon some
minions and keep jumping around. Destroying the Hammerhoods, but make sure your health is always full because if the GOLEM lands
on you he will take a lot health of you.
Once the enemies are dead, he will begin rolling the boulders again. Repeat the previous process until you damage him again with the
WRECKING BALL, at which point he will spawn more minions than last time. Defeat the Hammerhoods again, and now he will begin his
spin attack first thing, quickly get round to him and place that CANTLIN SHIELD to daze him first time and finish him off. Once defeated,
you will acquire the TARNISHED TOKEN.
Talk to Rollo when you resume control, then head to the FURNACE and craft the ANCIENT EMBLEM. Now take the ANCIENT EMBLEM to
the BANNER OF HOPE and use it. Keep talking to Rollo after the cutscene to complete the current Quest and acquire MEDICINAL HERB
x10. Now head NW to the beam of light in the distance, a marker for it would have appeared on the compass. Enter the beam of light
once you reach it at the beacon to complete the Chapter.
Upon completing the Chapter with all 5 challenges complete you will acquire the following Trophies;
Custodian of Cantlin,
Conqueror of Cantlin
CHAPTER 2: Rimuldar
The Swamps of Sickness
(30 day time limit)
This Chapter is very different to the first, here you will have poison lakes, and also a lot of sick residents. Once residents have been
cured (each require different items), it will take a day until they recover or are ready for the next item. Because of this, a NPC may not
appear to talk to when I state, if this happens, carry on with the next step and keep a look out for the NPC where I instructed. Or if you
are unable to progress and there is nothing left to do, then you can sleep to advance the day which will cause the NPC to wake up or
advance to the next sickness level. It should all fall into place how I state because of the timings with what I instruct, but bear this in
mind just in case.
Smash/grab the SCONCE and the PRETTY PILLARS x2 just beside the spawn point, then head to the base marker and destroy branches or
dead trees along the way to acquire BRANCHES. Place your BANNER OF HOPE at the base beacon once you reach it, then talk to Elle
when she appears. Keep talking to her to receive her Quest. Now craft a CHEST using the nearby CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION, then
place it and put your items inside.
By the way, don't build any rooms near the patch of water in the NW corner of your base, we will need this for later. Also, don't place
any blocks along the W row within your base boundaries (the last column of your base on the W side, travelling from N to S). This also
applies for the last row on the E side of your base as well.
Now head E slightly to the base of the mountain, then climb the N mountain. Try to collect the following from the grassy area on top of
the mountain;
COTTON x10 (the green plants with the 2 white stems sticking out the top)
Be careful acquiring these due to having no health items, and don't destroy anymore than listed above as you may need to SHOVEL
some up later. Once you have roughly acquired the above, head back to base and place them in the CHEST. Then create some HEALING
CREAM and give one to Elle to complete the Quest and acquire BROKEN BRANCH x10.
Now head back E, but this time don't climb the mountain, instead kill the Snails here, the Blue Slimes, destroy the branches/dead trees,
and destroy the some of then purple plants, the plan is to acquire the following approx amount of these materials;
EARTH x99
Once you have these approx amounts, head S slightly along the coastline and grab any furniture from the incomplete Hut you soon
reach, then get back to the base, plant your new items in the CHEST, then save your game. Now craft a COOKFIRE and place it in the
already existing room with the 2 beds, craft BOILED BUTTERBEANS x15 (3 batches) so that you have something to refill your hunger.
Now begin completing the blueprint, once completed talk to Elle to acquire BROKEN BRANCH x10. Keep talking to acquire the next
Quest where you must rescue somebody. Make sure you have at least 50 blocks in your inventory, then head to the W of the base and
build a bridge across the poison lake straight towards the QM, build the bridge at water level, that way you can ump back on if you fall
off. Once at the QM, grab the BONFIRE next to him, then talk to him and carry him back to base. Back at base, place him on a bed in the
INFIRMARY then report to Elle to receive STRONG STALKS x5.
Now craft a MEDICINAL HERB, then use it on the patient, make sure you are standing next to the patient and that the word USE is
highlighted, otherwise you may use it yourself. Once done, talk to Elle to acquire BROKEN BRANCH x10 and the next Quest. Once you
have the next Quest, place your items in the CHEST, but keep CORD x1 on you, then craft another GIANT MALLET and OAKEN CLUB.
Now smash the CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION and take it with you then make sure you have at least 50 blocks again. Make a bridge S
straight across the poison lake towards the QM. Climb the mountain nearby that has a grass area on the top, and make your way to the
QM from up here. But try to collect a bit more of the following along the way;
BUTTERBEANS x10
COTTON x5
MEDICINAL LEAF x5
Once at the QM, talk to the old man to learn how to make a WOODEN MEMORIAL, then place your CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION and
craft a WOODEN MEMORIAL. Place the WOODEN MEMORIAL in the empty spot on his wall, then talk to him again to recruit him. Now
grab the CHIMAERA WING x3 from the RED CHEST behind him, then grab the RED CHEST, BONFIRE and CRATES if you have space, then
warp back to base. Back at base, talk to the old man (Gerontius) to learn how to make a HERBALIST'S CAULDRON then hand the Quest
in to Elle to acquire WHITE PETAL x5.
Talk to Elle and Gerontius to acquire their new Quests, and talk to Nosh at the BANNER to welcome him who should now be better if
night has passed, this will earn you a SEED OF LIFE. Now place the CARPENTER'S WORKSHOP back in your base, eat some of the BOILED
BUTTERBEANS you made earlier to refill your hunger meter, then place everything in a CHEST apart from some HEALING CREAM, the
SEED OF LIFE and the CHIMAERA WINGS.
Now head across the S bridge and grab CHIMAERA FEATHERS from the Chimaeras just past the bridge. Then continue to the QM, but
along your way, collect FROGSTOOL x20 from the pink mushrooms, CLAY x50 and keep a look out for any caves, you should walk past a
cave in the side of the W mountain you climbed earlier. Be sure you collect YELLOW PETALS x20 from the yellow plants in the cave
before you reach the QM. Once at the QM, collect all the furniture/lighting from inside the room, then talk to the NPC and carry him
back to base.
Back at base, place the NPC on a bed, then give her some BOILED BUTTERBEANS. Now complete the HERBALISTS WORKSHOP blueprint,
you should have all materials, and once done talk to Gerontius to acquire BLUE GOO x15. Talk to Gerontius again afterwards to acquire
the next Quest.
Once acquired, head across the S bridge again and grab CHIMAERA FEATHERS again from the immediate Chimaera's, then continue to
the QM. Once your close to the QM, you will see a huge Snail appear that will launch orbs that will poison you if they hit. To avoid
these, just run straight to the small island that the huge Snail is on, don't waste time making a bridge or you will get hit. Then once on
the island, just kill the Snail by attacking and running around when it begins to attack to avoid then begin attacking again and repeat.
Once dead, grab the HEART OF DARKNESS then warp back to base and report to Gerontius, give him the item to acquire MEDICINAL
HERB x5 (don't use these as you will need them later).
Now craft a batch of ANTIDOTAL HERBS, then give one to the sick girl on the bed, then talk to Elle to acquire CHIMAERA WINGS x5. Bow
talk to Gerontius to acquire the next Quest which is to get your base to level 2. Craft SIMPLE BEDS x4 and place these in the SICKROOM
to create a INFIRMARY (you will need these beds later. Then complete the already existing room where you placed the COOKFIRE to
create a CRUDE KITCHEN and this should be enough to reach level 2. Once done, talk to Gerontius to acquire a SEED OF LIFE.
Now save your game, then prepare for a battle then talk to Elle to begin the battle. The monsters will attack from the E. Once defeated
you will acquire the BLUE TELEPORTAL then talk to Gerontius for the next Quest. Now build a room big enough to fit at least 3
teleporters inside and then place the BLUE TELEPORTAL inside. Now talk to the 2 new NPCs that appear near the BANNER, Kean and
Edsel. Carry them to and place them both on a bed when they drop ill. Give the Edsel a ANTIDOTAL HERB as indicated then speak with
Elle to acquire her Quest
Prickly Wilds
Now make sure all you have on you is some HEALING CREAM and the CHIMAERA WINGS, craft another GIANT MALLET and OAKEN
CLUB if there wearing down, make sure your hunger meter is full then head through the portal. First grab the BLUE NAVIGLOBE from
the nearby red chest and place it on the floor. Now acquire the following materials from just outside the teleporter (avoid the large
Caterpillar enemies for now);
PALM SEEDLING x10 (from the tree stumps that are left)
Once acquired, talk to Irvyn who's lying outside the portal, then carry him back through the portal to your base and place him on a bed.
Make a FRIED FROGSTOOL, then give it to Irvyn. Now talk to Casey who should be back on her feet and by the BANNER, she will give
you a SEED OF LIFE. Keep talking to her to acquire her Quest. At this point, Nosh should be back on his feet as well, talk to him once
able to, answer yes to acquire his Quest.
Now we will create Casey's watering hole as per her request. Head to the patch of water within the NW corner of you base. Now extend
the patch of water slightly so there is at least 10 blocks of water. Now place a wall around the water and leave enough free space of
flooring to place POTS x2, a CHEST, a COMFY STOOL and a WASHTUB, then place this inside. Lastly, place a DOOR and a LIGHT SOURCE
to create a WATERING HOLE. Remember, the water is below ground level, so make sure the flooring is at ground level so that you can
place furniture and so it counts as a WATERING HOLE. Now talk to Casey to complete the Quest, acquire PALM LUMBER x5 and learn
how to craft a BUCKET.
Now head to a empty corner of your base, and plant the PALM SEEDLINGS x10 into the ground (must be inside your base and in earth
otherwise they won't grow). These will take 2 days to grow tall to gain a stump, so don't destroy these earlier. This is now your
renewable source of WOOD. All you do is once they have grown over 2 days, cut them down along with the stump to acquire WOOD
and PLAM SEEDLINGS, then place the PALM SEEDLINGS straight back in the ground so you can acquire more WOOD in a few days if you
need. Remember this throughout the Chapter!
Now craft a BUCKET, then head over to the watering hole and use the BUCKET on the water to acquire WATER x20. Give some WATER
to the patient that asks for it. Then create a SEWING STATION and place it, then use it to create STONE AXE x2. Now head back through
the teleportal and head S, once you climb the first mountain, you will find a lot of plants on the top that will paralyse you temporarily,
there will also be a nearby QM to the SE. First, kill the Bewarewolf enemies until you have FUR x6, also collect the furniture from the
damage room just by the S edge of the mountain.
Once you have the materials, head to the nearest QM on this mountain top, you will see that there is a small roof structure with some
cracked blocks on the ground beneath. Stand on these blocks and you will fall down to where the ill NPC (Jacob) is below. Make some
stairs back up to the surface first behind the sign, then carry Jacob up and back to base.
Back at base, place Jacob on a bed and then create a COLOSSAL COFFER. Now make sure you have spoken to any NPCs that are better
and have a Quest waiting, you should have spoken to a better Nosh by now and acquired his Fishing Quest.
Now smash/grab the CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION to take this with you, then loot all your CHESTS contents and place them in your
COLOSSAL COFFER.
Now head through the teleportal, smash/grab the nearby RED CHEST then follow the nearby S cliffside around to the West until you
find a cave. Enter the first cave you find which won't be far, and gather COAL x50 from inside. Now head S up the mountain and then SE
to the nearest QM. Once at the QM, talk to the NPC, then fix his walls with earth, the walls are 4 blocks high and make sure you don't
miss the missing corner blocks. Once done, talk to the NPC again to complete the task and learn how to create a FISHING ROD. Now
place your CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION, create a FISHING ROD, then grab the CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION back. Talk to the NPC again
to learn how to fish, then fish from here until you have acquired SARDINES x10. Once done, grab the NPCs furniture, then head S to the
next QM.
After you have crossed the nearby river and you make your way to the QM, kill any small Caterpillars you see along the way till you
have acquired PARALYSTINGER x10. Also grab FIBROUS FOND x15 by destroying the large leaved plants, and grab PONGSETTIA x5 by
destroying the large flat red flowers (this are easier seen on the overhead view). If you get low on healing items, craft some healing
creams using the TREE STUMPS you find here or by using your CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION, by sure to grab it again afterwards though
if you do place it.
Once at the QM, destroy the 3 nests using your STONE AXE, just damage one, then when the caterpillars get near, run to another and
damage that one and repeat, these caterpillars don't have much health anyway. Once King Caterpillar appears, use the mound in the SE
corner of the nest pit to avoid the King Caterpillars attacks and to trap him, first kill any small caterpillars that are left. Once all that is
left is the King, kill it using the SE mound to your advantage, if you get it trapped correctly, and edge forward slightly on the top 3
blocks, you can just damage the King, but it won't attack you. Be careful with it's attack though as it hits hard, keep your health high.
Once it's dead, head straight E to the shoreline, at the shoreline, create a wall around you so now enemies can get through, then begin
Fishing using your FISHING ROD. Once you have caught COD x10, warp back to base. Back at base, report to Gerontius to receive a SEED
OF LIFE and learn some new recipes. Then report to Nosh to acquire MEDICINAL HERBS x3, keep talking to Nosh to gain his next Quest
and to give him some SARDINES, at which point you will receive ORANGE OIL x10. Keep talking to Nosh to begin his next Quest and
acquire his blueprint.
Now create a SARDINE-ON-A-STICK at the COOKFIRE and craft some TINGLE TABLETS at the HERBALISTS CAULDRON, then give these to
the relevant patients. Now place Nosh's blueprint down somewhere and complete it to create a CAFETERIA (grab the COOKFIRE from
your CRUDE KICTHEN, but place another light source in it's place). Talk to Nosh afterwards to acquire ORANGE OIL x10 again. Now,
hopefully 1 of the patients will be ready for another helping of TINGLE TABLETS, so give the TINGEL TABLETS to the required patient
(you may have to wait for a night to pass), then talk to Elle afterwards to acquire her blueprint. Then talk to Gerontius who wants the
base to reach level 3.
Complete Elle's blueprint, use the SEWING STATION you created earlier. Once done, you should be close to level 3. Just create a room
around the CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION now and make sure it has a CHEST inside which will make a CARPENTER'S WORKSHOP AND
should push your base to level 3. Now talk to Gerontius to acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Now create some FIBROUS FABRIC using the SEWING
STATION and then craft a LEATHER SHIELD and some TRAINING TOGS and equip them. Now save your game and prepare for battle.
Now talk to Elle to begin the next battle, and defeat them on the E side where they spawn, keep the larger enemies away from your
base as they will damage it. Afterwards, you will acquire the RED TELEPORTAL, Jacob should also be on his feet by now, talk to him to
acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Now talk to Gerontius to acquire the next Quest, then place the RED TELEPORTAL in the teleporter room. Now
talk to Elle, Nosh and Casey to acquire their Quests.
Ancient Palace
Now head through the RED TELEPORTAL, once through, loot the RED NAVIGLOBE from the RED CHEST, then smash/grab the RED CHEST
and place the RED NAVIGLOBE beside the teleporter. Now head North through the water, destroy the big green plants along the way to
acquire BIGONIA LEAFS, and also kill any Crabs to acquire CRAB CLAWS. Take your first right (E) and carry on to the lit damaged hut at
the end here. Grab the furniture from inside then talk to and carry the NPC (Mildred) back to your base.
Back at base, place Mildred on a bed, then go to your COOKFIRE and craft a COOKED CRAB CLAW, use this on Mildred then head back
through the RED TELEPORTAL. Now head N through the swamp area and to the QMs, grab more BIGONIA LEAFS until you have 30 along
the way, and also kill more Crabs until your have 10 CRAB CLAWS as well. Another important material to look out for in this canyon is
SILVER, quite easy to see as it will be in the mountain walls and it will look like blocks with silver stones inside. Grab SILVER x20, before
you exit the canyon. Once you have the advised materials, carry on to the QM and eventually you will exit the canyon area and come
into a clearing with trees, nearby is a QM that directs you to a very small island. Head to this nearest QM and 2 Evil Trees will spawn, kill
these, then smash the centre blocks to find Hazel. Talk to her then carry her back to base.
At base, place Hazel on a bed, then give her a SARDINE-ON-A-STICK. Now make sure you have at least 5 TINGLE TABLETS, at least STONE
AXES x2 then head back through the RED TELEPORTAL. Now keep heading N to the remaining QM, once you reach the open swamp
area where you rescued Hazel before, scan the area for plants in the swamp that have red apples on them, smash these until you
acquire HEARTFRUIT x10. Then carry on N towards the QM where you will come to a long brick wall with a entrance in the centre. Enter
this area and grab the furniture from the 2 rooms, also grab the SEED OF LIFE from the RED CHEST above the exit. And grab 50 of the
BRICK WALL BLOCKS that this is structure is made off as well before exiting.
As you make your way E now to the QM, destroy the Skeleton Soldiers you come across along the way until you have acquired RUSTY
NUGGETS x25. Also kill the Sage enemies until you acquire SAPPHIRE x2 (uncommon drop). Keep an eye out for the grass areas here
that will have green plants with white petals and a potato in the centre, destroy these plants until you have acquired POTATOES x10.
Once you have these, head to the North shoreline next to the castle, and fish until you have caught at least SALMON x5. Once you have
these, enter the castle and kill the Lunatik, just keep attacking him, then jump over his projectiles as he fires then attack again and
repeat.
Once dead, loot the chest for the FARMER SUTRA blueprint, then head up the stairs, and loot the chests on the SW and NW spires for
MEDICINAL HERBS and CHIMAERA WINGS. Now head to the mountain E of the castle, and collect WHEAT x15 from on top of this
mountain. Once you have, keep heading E and you will come to a ground level area with purple blocks and a structure in the centre.
Make your way down and to this structure, you will find 2 chests with a monument and some brown blocks in the centre froming a
square in the NE corner of the room. Destroy the 4 blocks (GOLEMITE BLOCKS) that go from the centre to the left (N), and place them
back down on the right so the blocks are now going from the centre to the S and they will now be forming a square in the SE corner.
You will know when the blocks are placed in the right place as you will get the blue glow like in blueprints.
Once done, grab the EVIL IDOL and RED BLOCK (don't lose this) from the chests, then warp back to base. Back at base, craft a CLOAK OF
INVASION and equip it, then create a BRICK BARBECUE, and after, talk to Nosh to acquire ORANGE OIL x10. Now place the BRICK
BARBECUE in a room with a chest to create a BARBECUE KITCHEN. Then craft a BAGUETTE and FRIES, then give these to the patients
who require them. Next,craft a FILTER FOUNTAIN at the CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION and place this in the water in your WATERING
HOLE room to create a PURIFICATION POOL. Grab PURE WATER x5 by using the BUCKET right beside the FILTER FOUNTAIN, then hand
the Quest in to Casey to acquire PALM LUMBER x10.
Now talk to Gerontius, give him the FARMER SUTRA to end the Quest and acquire CHIMAERA WING x5. Now place the VEGGIE PATCH
blueprint somewhere in base and complete it. The centre blocks will not register correctly until you have raked them, also the smaller
plants oj the left are WHEAT, the larger on the right are BUTTERBEANS, in can be hard to tell which is which in the blueprint. The
materials can be crafted at the CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION, and the SEEDS at the HERBALIST'S CAULDRON. Once done talk to
Gerontius to acquire POTATO SPROUT x5.
Now create a SHOVEL, IRON BROADSWORD x2 and IRON AXE x2 and equip them. Next, create a SUPER SALAD and a SAUTEED SALMON,
then give each to the required patient once their ready. Once you have gave them the food or if their not ready yet, begin building up
your base to raise it to level 4, you can probably get away with just placing any furniture within the rooms that you have collected on
your travels. Once at level 4, smahs all the doors, then replace them like normal.
Hopefully now, the patients are ready for their next food or there may only be one patient left if you have gave them the food stated in
the paragraph above already. Either way, there's not much you can do, so sleep to advance to the next morninga and progress any ill
patients status. Now gve them the food mentioned earlier and sleep again, or if you have already given them the SUPER SALAD and
SAUTEED SALMON, all that should be left to give is the BOUILLABAISSE. So craft the BOUILLABAISSE and give it to the final ill patient,
then talk to Elle to acquire MEDICINAL HERB x5.
Talk to Hazel again to begin the battle, then defeat the monsters to acquire MEDICINAL HERB x5. Now you will likely have to wait for
the patients to fully recover, it will take a night. So while your waiting, head S across the bridge you made at the beginning. Now head
up the mountain in front to the S, then up top, head to the W cliff edge. Now follow the W cliff edge Southwards until you reach a
square brick structure with furniture inside. Enter this and fill in the right side so that it is exacly the same as the left side. use the
CARPENTER'S WORKSTATION to craft what you need. Once completed, grab the STONE AXE and WHITE BLOCK (don't lose this) from the
chests, then grab your items back then warp back to base.
The night should almost have passed by now, sleep if not to speed it up. Talk to Mildred and Hazel once their awake to acquire some
items. Now there should only be 3 sick patients that are left, Kean, Edsel and Irvyn. Their health bars will be full, but they are still sick.
Once your at this stage, save your game.
At this point with everybody cured apart for the 3 mentioned above, sleep to advance the Chapter at which point a small scene will play
and you will wake up at nightfall. Speak to Elle, say yes, then talk to Gerontius and say yes.
Now talk with the 3 patients and kill them once they change. Once their defeated, talk to Elle, then after the scene, talk to Mildred and
Gerontius to acquire their Quests. Now craft a BALLISTA and then talk with Mildred to acquire MEDICINAL HERB x5. No head through
the RED TELEPORTAL and go straight to the QM.
Once at the QM, talk to the NPC, then use GERONTIUS LETTER on him, then talk to him again to initiate a battle. Defeat the enemies,
grab their drops, then grab all the furniture from the house and warp back to base. Talk to Gerontius giving him the ILLIOUS NOTES you
just acquired to complete the Quest and acquire a SEED OF LIFE.
Now talk to Elle once ready to begin the next battle. Win the battle to acquire the GREEN TELEPORTAL, then talk to Elle afterwards who
has fell sick, then carry her to a bed. Now talk to Gerontius to acquire his Quest, then place the GREEN TELEPORTAL in the same room
as the others. Now talk to Hazel to acquire her Quest and keep talking to her to give her the SILVER and complete it to acquire a SEED
OF LIFE and the LIQUID SILVER recipe.
Holy Sanctum
Now head through the GREEN TELEPORTAL and head to the QM, but along the way, keep an eye out for any caves. Enter these caves
along the way and grab any GOLD (blocks with gold stones) or SILVER from inside, you should find at least 10 of each. Once at the QM,
grab the FILTER FOUNTAINS that area at the base, then climb the wrecked tree to find Thalamus. Talk with him, then once you have
learned how to create a TRANSMUTATION TABLE warp back to base.
Back at base, talk to Gerontius to acquire a SEED OF LIFE, the keep talking to acquire the next Quest. Now craft LIQUID SILVER x25
(don't craft more than this for now), then craft FALCON BLADE x2 and a SILVER SHIELD, then equip them. Also build a TRANSMUTATION
TABLE and KEYS x5, create a room and place the TRANSMUTATION TABLL inside.
Now grab the HERBALIST'S CAULDRON so you have it on you, then head through the BLUE TELEPORTAL and head W keeping close to
the N coastline while grabbing a PALM SEEDING from a tree on the way if you don't have one. Eventually you will reach another square
structure with a puzzle inside (not the large roofed building that you may pass on the way).
Once you reach the puzzle, there will be 2 trees in the centre of different sizes, place the PALM SEEDLING in the free spot on the left,
then grab the GOLD and BLUE BLOCK (don't lose this) from the chests.
Now head SE, and very close by just over the white blocks, you will see a large roofed house, make your way down to this and inside.
Loot all furniture from inside the building as you gradually make your way up the stairs and out through the E up top. Climb the ladder
outside here and grab the ROOF TILES from the red chest. Now head onto the roof and place the ROOF TILES in their correct places, it's
pretty obvious what piece fits where. Once done, open the chest that has just opened to learn how to make ROOF TILES, then head W
over the mountain and you will see another building.
Head to the front of this building and kill the red Scarewolves outside until you have acquired CONFUSING CLAW x2. Then enter the
building and speak with the yellow Wolf at the top of the stairs. Once you have learned the recipe, place your HERBALIST'S CAULDRON
and craft 2 batches. Now hand some over to the Wolf to receive a RING OF CLARITY, then head outside, climb to the roof of the building
and grab the GOLD RING from the TREASURE CHEST on the top, then warp back to base.
Back at base, place some items into standard chests if you need to free some space but make sure you keep the BALLISTA, the single
WHITE, RED and BLUE BLOCKS on you and then travel through the BLUE TELEPORTAL. Now head to the QM, kill the large red Troll along
the way to acquire a STRENGTH RING, equip this then carry on. You will have to travel pass the QM slightly to find the entrance in the
mountain as the QM is underground. Once you find the entrance, head down and use a KEY on the door. Once you find the Dragon,
stay in the corridor, place the BALLISTA you made earlier and kill it with this from a safe distance as the Dragon won't move. Once dead,
grab the DRAGON SCALE, equip it, then grab the HOLYHOOK from behind, now exit back to the surface.
Back at the surface, head straight S, and to the last puzzle the you will see just below you. Enter the puzzle area and place the WHITE
BLOCK in the left hole beneath the monument, the BLUE BLOCK in the centre and the RED BLOCK in the right. Now open the chest up
the ladder to learn how to make a CATHOLICON RING and then warp back to base. Talk to Gerontius to acquire a SEED OF LIFE, keep
talking to Gerontius for the next Quest. Now save your game and then craft some HOLYHOCK SEEDS. Plant the two HOLYHOCK SEED in
your VEGGIE PATCH. Now head to the TRANSMUTATION table and craft the CATHOLICON RING, you should be fine with materials, but if
you need slightly more SILVER, quickly head through the GREEN TELEPORTAL and grab some more from the cliff sides or caves.
Once done, you just need to wait for the HOLYHOCK to grow, it will take 2 fays to grow fully. While waiting, get the base to level 5 by
place furniture you have collected on your travels. Once your base is at level 5 and the HOLYHOCK is fully grown (it will be 3 blocks high,
the 1st stage is 2 blocks high), remove the HOLYHOCK plant at the 2nd stage to acquire HOLYHOCK x10, then craft DIVINE DRAUGHT x2
at the TRANSMUTATION TABLE and give one to Elle.
Now talk to Gerontius to complete the Quest and acquire a SEED OF LIFE. Now once ready, talk to Gerontius and begin the battle. Once
the battle is finished, talk to Gerontius afterwards and begin the 2nd battle. Afterwards, complete the final battle. After the 3rd battle,
the remaining battle will be the BOSS BATTLE so now we will do a light bit of prepping before we start.
Your base will get heavily damaged during this fight, so to decrease the chances, craft some WOODEN DOORS so you have a total of 10
(you should already have a few that you looted, also a MAGIC DOOR will be okay that you may have). Head to the West side of your
base and place 5 WOODEN DOORS beside eachother along the centre of the base along the last row of your base. If you count 10 blocks
in from the N or S edge of your base, you can then begin placing the doors on the 11th block as that will be pretty much be central for
the 5 DOORS. Now place a wall 3 blocks high along the top of the DOORS, the material doesn't matter. The reasoning behind this is
because the BOSS minions will spawn from the W or E and they will destroy any walls in their way, however, they cannot break the
WOODEN DOORS (or MAGIC DOORS) so we are placing these along the outer wall to block them.
Once done, repeat the same for the lasat row on the E side of your base. Once this is done on both the E and W side, now head to the
BANNER OF HOPE, stand next to it, and then make a 5 block high set of stairs that begin next to the BANNER and ascend to the W. Once
you have placed the top 5th block, now create a platform up here that is at least 8 x 8 blocks, at the right height of the platform, the
very top of the green ruby on the BANNER OF HOPE will be just below the very top of the platform. Now craft a few more BALLISTAS so
you have 3, and then place them on the W side of the platform you just created side by side facing W. The centre BALLISTA should be in
line with the BANNER.
Make sure you leave a way to get quickly in and out of your base on W side as well. If you place some stairs, don't place them right in
the centre as the enemies will use them to get around your DOORS. The enemies will mostly just gather in the centre where your
DOORS are, so if you place some stairs at the side a few blocks down, you should be able to quickly climb the stairs and get back into
your base before the enemies have chance to follow you.
Now your base is ready, some enemies may get through, but this should keep it to a minimum, it's only the red Scarewolfs that can
damage your base.
Now make sure you have some healing items, the CATHOLICON RING equipped as well because this will prevent all status ailments and
once ready, save your game. After you have saved, talk to Gerontius and start the fight.
BOSSFIGHT
Hades Condor
Pretty easy BOSS again, it will keep flying around your base and stop on the E and W sides. When it stops on the E side it will cast some
large orbs that will just remain still, just stay away from these, and it may also call some minions. You can pretty much just ignore it's
minions if you wish, they should all be stuck at the WOODEN DOORS you placed.
Then it will travel around to the West side, where it will call some minions again, rest it's wings and shoot some projectiles. At this
point, some text will appear in the bottom right corner signalling to shoot the BOSS with a BALLISTA, now just keep shooting it with the
BALLISTA'S until it falls. Dodge it's projectiles as you do, and once it does fall, sprint over to it and begin attacking it. If you don't knock it
down in time, it will repeat another cycle around the base before you can attack it again.
Once you have knocked it down and hit it with your sword, it will eventually get up and begin flying again. Now run back and climb back
up onto where the BALLISTA'S are. The BOSS will perform the same attacks as before, however now it will also cast a tornado. When it
casts the tornado, climb down and stop underneath the platform you made, then when the tornado catches you (which it will), you will
bang your head on the platform above preventing the tornado from sending you across to a far corner of the poison swamp.
Other than it's new attack, and the fact that the BOSS will require more hit's with the BALLISTA each time, everything else will rem.ain
the same. Just repeat the process until the BOSS is dead and the grab the STORM STONE that it drops.
After the battle, talk to Elle then head over to the TRANSMUTATION TABLE and craft the STAFF OF RAIN. Now head over to the BANNER
and use the STAFF OF RAIN.
Redeemer of Rimuldar
Now reload your last save on Chapter 2 and then head through the RED TELEPORTAL (time is not a problem now). Head N and once
your out of the canyon, head E, you should soon come to a small patch of water inland that looks like a slime from the birds eye view.
Set-up a fishing area next to this so no enemies can't attack, and then begin fishing in this slime shaped pond.
Your goal is to keep fishing until you catch a King-Slime, this is a 2% chance to catch so make sure your alert with no distractions so that
you don't fail any fishing attempts. Sometimes you need to be fast to reel the catch in it before it escapes, and if you keep failing, you
coulsd potentially keep leting the King-Slime catch escape.
Once you have caught the King- Slime, kill it, then complete the Chapter once more. This will now be all challenges complete and will
net you the Trophy;
Ruler of Rimuldar
If you just can't seem to catch the King Slime and have spent a while trying, may be wise to leave this for now and come back to it later
to prevent too much frustration. If you do this though, remember to come back to this Challenge later.
Once you begin, grab the nearby BONFIRE, then grab the following materials before you head to the base;
SANDGRASS x50
FUR x15 (from the Brownies or Hammerhoods)
IVY x20
Once you have approx the above amounts, head to the base and place the BANNER OF HOPE. Talk to Glutimus once he arrives to
receive his Quest. Next create a CHEST using the MINER'S REFINER then put your materials inside the CHEST. Now head over to the NW
room and repair it. You need to remove the earth blocks in the centre and then fill in the gaps in the wall so it's 2 blocks high, once
done you will create a PUBLIC BATH. Now talk to Glutimus to acquire BROKEN BRANCH x3.
Keep talking to Glutimus for the next Quest, now craft WASHTUB x2 and TOWER RAILS x3 and place them in the PUBLIC BATHS to
create KOL PUBLIC BATHS. Now talk to Glutimus to receive white petals x5. Now create a few HEALING CREAMS, then talk to Glutimus
to begin the battle, then defeat the monsters who will attack from the S.
Afterwards, talk to Glutimus to receive the next Quest. Now place all your materials in a CHEST except for a few healing items, grab the
HOT WATER CRYSTAL from the water patch inside the base and place that in a CHEST as well. Next, craft GIANT MALLET x3, then take
the MINER'S REFINER with you and head S to the QM. Defeat the Knight at the QM, then head back to Glutimus.
Hand the Quest in to him to acquire CHIMAERA WINGS x3, the talk to him again to acquire the next Quest. Make sure you only have the
healing items, CHIMAERA WINGS and the MINER'S REFINER, then head S to the QM. On your way to the QM, once you pass through the
gate where you killed the Knight previously, mine the first boulder you see, then place your MINER'S REFINER and craft a STONE
SWORD. Grab the MINER'S REFINER, then explore the current area before you head to the QM, collect the following materials;
PRICKLY PEACH x15 (if you get low on food, eat one of these)
STONE x 50
SAND x30
Once you have these, head to the QM and read the notes on the crate. Now head to the next QM and enter the cave there. Grab
COPPER x50 and COAL x50 from the cave and CLAY x30 before you talk to the NPC (Burley). Give Burley a PRICKLY PEACH, then head
outside with him and warp back to base. Talk to Burley back at base, then hand the Quest in to Glutimus to complete it. Talk to Burley
afterwards to begin the next Quest.
Now place your MINER'S REFINER back in base, then place your latest materials in the CHEST and craft a COOKFIRE. Cook CACTUS
STEAKS x10 and give one to Burley to complete the Quest. Now craft a FORGE and then craft COPPER SWORD x2, then talk to Glutimus
and begin the next battle. Talk to Glutimus after the battle and keep talking to acquire the next Quest. Now create a BASIC BEDROOM
and then hand the Quest in to Glutimus and keep talking for the next Quest.
Now make sure your hunger bar is near full then place everything in a CHEST apart for some HEALING CREAM and CHIMAERA WINGS.
Then talk to Burley to take him with you and head to the QM. At the QM, defeat the Sage's first, then the Knight, then grab the KEY and
unlock the cell. Talk to Maxi inside to recruit him, then grab the TREASURE CHEST and the SCONCES on the walls. Now exit the small
fort and warp back to base once everybody is with you.
Talk to Maxi to welcome him, then hand the Quest in to Glutimus. Keep talking to get the next Quest which is to raise the base's level to
level 2. Now just make a room around the COOKFIRE, MINER'S REFINER and the FORGE that you crafted and that should be enough.
Making a room around the MINER'S REFINER and placing a CHEST inside will create a MINER'S REFINERY. Once done, knock every door
down then replace them as per normal, then hand the Quest into Glutimus and keep talking to begin the battle.
Defeat the enemies until you reach the 2nd wave. Ignore/avoid the Dancing Flames as you can't damage them yet, and wait for the
Sage Leader to appear then kill it to acquire the BLUE TELEPORTAL. Now talk to Glutimus to complete the Quest and to acquire the next
one. Now build a room big enough for three teleporters and place the BLUE TELEPORTER inside, if you need any more earth, just
remove the excess blocks in your base, leave blocks that could later form walls for rooms. Place the BLUE TELEPORTER inside the room,
then place everything in CHEST except some HEALING CREAM and CHIMAERA WINGS, make sure you have a few GIANT MALLETS as
well. Now save your game, then talk to Burley to take him with you, then head through the BLUE teleportal.
Island of Lava
You should be on 4-5 days now.
Once through the portal, head SW towards the SW gate. Along the way, grab CLAY x30 from the hill walls and more importantly, grab
the tree stumps you see in the darker earth blocks to acquire CEDAR SEEDLINGS, you should be able to acquire 5-10. Also grab CHILLI
PEPPERS x30 from the orange plants. Once you have passed through the SW gate, keep heading forward until you reach the next gate
at which point 2 Gatekeepers will appear. Destroy the 2 Knights, then loot the TREASURE CHESTS in the gate area for WOOD x5 and
MEDICINAL HERB x5. Now head N back through the gates where you came and head to the NW gate.
Keep heading through the NW gate and keep following this path, kill any Knights you encounter along the way. Enter the first structure
you pass to the W to spawn a Knight. Kill the Knight then loot the WOOD x5 from the TREASURE CHEST, take the TREASURE CHEST also.
Head N from here to the other enclosed area where 3 Knights will spawn this time. Kill the Knights then grab the SEED OF LIFE from the
TREASURE CHEST and then enter the caves you just passed.
You should have passed 2 caves in this dead end area. Loot the 2 caves until you have IRON x80. Then exit climb the N mountain here,
once on top of the mountain, loot WHEAT x20 from the plants on the dark brown blocks up here. Once you have them, head NE to the
far corner near the shore, wear you will find a building with a Troll beside it. Place a block in the hole that the Troll is peeping through,
then talk to the girl to acquire the FIERCE FOUNTAIN recipe. Now loot her furniture and then warp back to base with Burley.
Back at base, plant the CEDAR SEEDLINGS you acquired somewhere on your base out the way, then craft a COLOSSAL COFFER and place
it in a room. Now smash your CHESTS to place all the contents into your COLOSSAL COFFER then place the CHESTS back. Next craft 4
lots of IRON INGOTS (20). Now hand the Quest into Glutimus, then talk to Burley and Maxi to acquire their next Quests and some new
recipes.
First head over to the COOKFIRE and cook the SEARING STEAK, also cook some MAGIC DYE while your here, then give the SEARING
STEAK to Burley. Now head to the FORGE and craft ORNAMENTAL SWORDS x2, a ARMOURER'S SIGN, then place these in the KOL
PUBLIC BATHS to create a BODYBUILDER'S BATH, then hand the Quest into Maxi.
Now craft IRON BROADSWORD x2, SLEDGEHAMMER x2, IRON ARMOUR and a IRON SHIELD then equip them. Now talk to Glutimus to
begin the battle, defeat the enemies from the W then talk to Glutimus again afterwards to complete the Quest and answer yes when he
asks you to acquire the next Quest. Now make sure all you have on you is some HEALING CREAM and the CHIMAERA WINGS, then grab
Maxi, Glutimus and Burley to take with you then head through the portal.
Head straight through the SW gate and then through the 2nd gate, you will come to a 3rd gate which is across from a lava pool. From
here, head E to the LAVA BLOCKS and grab LAVA BLOCKS x50,but be careful you don't smash them to close to the lava because then
lava will get in and damage you. Then head back to the 3rd gate, grab EARTH BLOCKS x20 along the way and then make a bridge along
to the gate, keep the bridge level with the lava so you can jump back on if you fall off.
Head through the gate and loot all furniture/lights/doors/chains/chests etc as you make your way to the QM. In the first large area
before the 2nd gate in here, you will find a RING OF STRENGTH in the N structure and a RING OF AWAKENING in the S structure after
killing the mimic. Once you have the RINGS, smash through the 2nd gate and carry on to the QM, ignore the area through the 3rd gate
on the N for now with the big Troll. Once at the QM, talk with the prisoner by standing next to the cell wall, this will give you another
QM. Now loot the BRAZIERS x2 up the stairs here, then head SE to the new QM.
At the QM, some enemies that spawn, kill the Sage's first followed by the Troll. When attacking the Troll, attack on it's left side (the side
without the club), it will keep stepping on you if you attack on it's right side. Once all are dead, loot the TREASURE CHEST for the
DESIGN DOCUMENTS then loot all the furniture here. Once done, make sure everybody is with you, then warp back to base.
Back at base, talk to Glutimus and give him the DESIGN DOCUMENTS, then keep talking to him to acquire the next Quest and some
recipes. Now chop the trees down that you planted earlier to acquire CEDAR LUMBER, that should have grown by now. Make sure you
smash the stumps as well and replant the SEEDLINGS straight after. Now create a WELDER'S WORKBENCH then place it and put a room
around it. Now craft a CANNON, you should have all the materials to craft whatever is needed. Once done, talk with Glutimus and keep
talking to complete this Quest and acquire the next one.
Now recruit the 3 of them again, then head through the teleportal and straight to the QM, make sure you have the CANNON with you.
Along the way, just before reaching the QM, use the CANNON to smash the gate that you avoided before with the Troll behind it. Stay
this side of the gate and use the CANNON to kill the Troll from here as it can't pass through the small gap you made. After the Troll is
dead, loot the EVIL IDOL from it's body then explore the treasure room behind it. Loot the 4 TREASURE CHESTS as well as killing the
mimic which you will acquire some items from including a RUBY OF PROTECTION and some STEEL SABATONS. Acquiring these 2
accessories will reward you with the Trophy;
Avid Accessoriser
Now head to the QM, and use the CANNON to break the cell wall, then free Barbella so she joins you. Now stay in the cell, place the
CANNON and kill the Troll that spawns from here, kill the rest of the enemies then warp back to base as long as everybody is with you.
Back at base, talk to Barbella at the BANNER to welcome her. Then talk to Glutimus to complete this Quest and to acquire the next
which is to raise your base to level 3. You may even be at level 3, but if not you won't be far off, just make sure the crafting stations you
have mad are all in rooms, then just add a bit of the furniture you have been collecting to raise it that extra bit more. Once you are at
level 3, make sure you break all the doors then place them back and then talk to Glutimus once your at level 3 to complete the Quest.
Next, talk to Barbella to acquire her Quest and the DOUBLE-BARRELLED BOMBARD blueprint. Place at the W end of your base in the
centre, you should have all materials needed to craft whatever is needed. Once completed, you will acquire the Trophy;
Master Planner
Talk to Barbella afterwards to complete the Quest, keep talking to begin the next battle assuming your ready. Ignore your Cannon
defence that you just made as it's pretty useless, and just melee the enemies instead. Once the Dancing Flame's appear, ignore them
like before and kill the Sage when it appears to dispel them. On the final phase, be ready for when the Troll Leader appears as you want
to keep him away from your base, once all are defeated, you will obtain the RED TELEPORTAL.
Talk to the new NPC (Baird) that appears to acquire a Quest, then hand the current Quest into Barbella and acquire her next Quest.
Now place the RED TELEPORTAL in the teleporter room then save your game.
Island of Ice
You should now be on approx 10 days.
Now recruit Glutimus, Maxi and Burley, craft a SHOVEL, then head through the RED TELEPORTAL. First, collect CHALK x50 and SNOW
x20 from the SW cliff walls. Once done, head to the W QM first, kill any snowmen you encounter along the way to acquire POWIE
YOWIE FUR. Also chop the white flowers to acquire FREEZIA FLOWER x20 and especially make sure you dig up FREEZIA x3 with the
SHOVEL as well to acquire the actual flower. At the QM, talk to the lady, kill the enemies then talk to the lady again to have her follow
you.
Now explore the earth cliff walls next to you for the blocks with green rocks inside (MYTHRIL). Scout this area until you have MYTHRIL
x30, kill any Snowmen and Robots you encounter to acquire some POWIE YOWIE FUR and MECHROCHIP. Once you have the MYTHRIL
x30, head N to the remaining QM, but along the way, use your SHOVEL to dig up 4 MEDICINAL PLANTS you will encounter, as well as 3
MILKBLOSSOMS (the plants that give WHITE PETALS). If you can't find MEDICINAL PLANTS or MILKBLOSSOMS here, you may find some
slightly SW of the QM. Also kill any Robots along the way until you have MECHROCHIP x15. Once you have the materials I just
mentioned, keep heading to the QM, where you will find a fozen lake, enter the tower SE of the lake and grab the CHIMAERA WINGS x3
from the TREASURE CHEST inside, then mine the ICE BLOCKS until you have 50.
Now mine some MYTHRIL from the surrounding cliffs for 20 more so you have a total of 50. Finally, on the land next to the ice is a
foresty area, keep running from one end of this, to the other keeping an eye out for Yellow Dracky's. Kill these Yellow Dracky's to
acquire DRACKY BUTTER, and repeat this until you have DRACKY BUTTER x5, may take you a few mins to obtain these as the Yellow
Dracky's don't spawn that often. Once all is acquired, make sure you have your 3 friends with you and the lady, then warp back to base.
Back at base, talk to Cecille to welcome her to Town, then hand the Quest in to Barbella. Keep talking to Barbella to acquire some new
recipes and to begin her next Quest. Next talk to Baird to complete his Quest, then head over to the WELDER'S WORKSHOP and craft 3
lots of CRACK SHOT (60). Now head through the BLUE TELEPORTAL. Now head over to the SW gate, and kill nearby Dancing Flames
around this area until you have acquired FLAME ORBS x20, then warp back to base. Now talk to Barbella to complete the Quest and
acquire SIZZ SHOT x30. Keep talking to her to acquire her blueprint for the next Quest.
Now place the blueprint down somewhere and complete it, you should have all the materials needed, you already have a WELDER'S
WORKBENCH that you can move. Once the WELDER'S WORKSHOP is complete, talk to Barbella to complete the Quest, keep talking to
her to begin the battle. Defeat the enemies, you must kill the Dancing Flames this time. Once done, talk to Burley to acquire his
blueprint, then place it on the West side and then complete it. Now talk to Burley to obtain CHIMAERA WINGS x3, then talk to Barbella
to acquire her Quest.
Now craft a batch of SIZZ SHOTS (20) and you should now have 50, then head through the RED TELEPORTAL. Head N to the frozen lake
killing any Robots along the way to gain some extra MECHROCHIPS, then kill the ice enemies at the lake until you have acquired approx
FROST ORB x25. Now warp back to base, then head over to your WELDER'S WORKBENCH, craft 1 batch of POWER CRYSTALS (10) and
then 3 lots of MAGIC INGOTS (15). Now craft the following;
MAGIC CANNON
AURORA BLADE x2
HELA'S
HAMMER x2
MAGIC ARMOUR
MAGIC SHIELD
Equip these after (your weapons can now damage the fire and ice enemies) and then talk to Barbella to complete the Quest. Now talk
to Maxi to acquire his Quest, then craft the HELA'S HAMMER SIGN and place it in the BODYBUILDER'S BATH to create HELA HOT BATHS
which will give your friends magic weapons as well. Talk to Maxi to complete the Quest, then talk to Barbella to begin the next battle.
Complete the battle then talk to Barbella afterwards to begin the next Quest.
Now recruit Barbella, Burley, Maxi and Glutimus, then head through the BLUE TELEPORTER. Head SW to the giant hand in the lava lake
to the left of the 1st gate. Defeat the giant hand, then make sure everybody is with you and warp back to base. Talk to Barbella to
complete the Quest, then talk to Glutimus to acquire his Quest to raise the base to level 4. Place any furniture you have acquired into
rooms and that should be enough to reach level 4 (ignore the blueprint he gives you, it's not a requirement). Once at level 4, remove all
the doors and replace them, then hand the Quest into Glutimus.
Now talk to Barbella once ready to begin the next battle. Defeat the enemies and then you will obtain the GREEN TELEPORTAL. Talk to
Barbella afterwards to acquire her Quest, then save the game.
The Ruins
You should now be on approx 15 days.
Now recruit Glutimus, Maxi and Burley, then head through the GREEN TELEPORTAL. Head W to the QM and kill the enemies that
appear. Afterwards, talk to the fallen Robot at the QM to acquire the RECORDS, then loot the furniture. Now make sure everybody is
with you then warp back to base. Back at base, give the records to Barbella to complete the Quest. Now talk to Cecille to acquire a KEY,
then head through the RED TELEPORTAL.
Now head N to the tower just past the frozen lake, and open the locked door using your KEY. Loot the door then up the ladders to
Galeleo. Talk with him to advance the Quest, then loot his furniture, exit the tower and warp back to base. At base, talk with Cecille to
complete the Quest, the talk with Glutimus. After talking to Glutimus for the next Quest, break the WELDER'S WORKBENCH and collect
it, then recruit Maxi and Burley, then head through the GREEN TELEPORTAL.
Turn around and head SE to the QM. Once you have climbed the nearby mountain, then dropped down into the shallow water below,
chop the plants in the water until you have SUGAR CANE x20 and a total of 20 HEARTFRUIT. Now, before you leave the water, enter any
caves in the cliff walls along the water. Inside the cave/s, mine any SILVER or GOLD you find, and keep an eye out for a TREASURE
CHEST with a SPECTACULAR SPA blueprint that may be inside the cave. After searching the nearby caves, head to the QM area where
you will find a lot of igloos and a Troll, kill the Troll first. Be careful because the Troll will cause a lot of damage if it connects with it's
foot stomp, stay near it's left leg (the side with the club), and keep moving around him every few hits to avoid his stomps.
Once the Troll is dead, look inside every igloo until you find a TREASURE CHEST containing the BROKEN LYRE. Once you have it, head to
the new QM but on your way, keep an eye out for any caves in the SW cliff walls you pass. Enter any caves you come to and mine them
for there SILVER and GOLD, and also keep an eye out for the TREASURE CHEST with the SPECTACULAR SPA blueprint if you don't have it
already. Keep heading to the QM, but once you have at least SILVER x10 and the SPECTACULAR SPA blueprint, you won't need to search
anymore caves and can head straight to the QM.
Once at the QM, place the WELDER'S WORKBENCH and craft the LYRE OF IRE, the grab the WELDER'S WORKBENCH back and talk to
Galeleo at the QM. Give him the LYRE OF IRE then talk to him again. Once the Quest objective is complete, warp back to base with your
friends and talk with Glutimus to complete the Quest. Now talk to Barbella to acquire the next Quest. Now place the WELDER'S
WORKBENCH back and craft BLUE BLOCKS x 30.
Now recruit Glutimus, Maxi and Burley, then head through the GREEN TELEPORTAL. Once through, head to the QM which is accessed
through a cave on the top of a mountain. Once inside the cave at the QM, place BLUE BLOCKS inside the gaps in the centre of the floor.
once done correctly some enemies will spawn. Kill the enemies then loot the PROTOTYPE PLANS from the TREASURE CHEST. Now grab
you BLUE BLOCKS back then exit and warp back to base, the give the PROTOTYPE PLANS to Barbella. Keep talking to Barbella afterwards
to acquire the next Quest.
Now craft a BRICK BARBECUE, then use it to craft a PANCAKE. Now recruit Glutimus, Maxi and Burley and then head through the RED
TELEPORTAL. Turn and head South, shortly you will come to a friendly Troll who is attempting to destroy some FORTRESS BLOCKS.
Destroy them for him, then talk to him, the use a PANCAKE on him to acquire a RING OF CRITICALITY. Then turn and head towards the
QM, but keep a look out for the large Troll along the way.
Once you spot the large Troll, kill it then ignore the QM for a moment and head NE to a cave in the distance. Enter the cave and place
BLUE BLOCKS in the gap in the centre, similar to earlier. Once done enter the door where the EVIL IDOL was and carry on through the
tunnels. Use the blue flooring as guidance for the correct tunnels to take. Once at the end, loot the TREASURE CHEST to learn how to
craft a LYRE OF SLIME IMMEMORIAL, then head forward up the stairs and exit the cave.
Once you exit the cave, head NE until you reach the shoreline, then head W and you will come to a large bridge. Head along this bridge
then make your way to the QM (run past the enemies on the bridge). Once at the QM in the castle, kill the enemies, then loot the two
TREASURE CHESTS to acquire the CURIOUS CONTRAPTION. Now head back to base and craft the VULCOVOLTAIC MAGIMOTOR using
the WELDER'S WORKBENCH, then craft the BASHMOBILE at the same BENCH. Talk to Barbella afterwards to complete the Quest.
Now recruit Glutimus, Maxi and Burley, then head S to the Troll and kill it. Afterwards, head back to base. Now grab the SPECTACULAR
SPA blueprint that you found in a chest earlier and place it somewhere in your base, then complete it as you should have all the
ingredients/materials required by now. Everything is pretty straight forward to craft for this apart for the following;
TEA SERVICE; In order to craft this, first you will need to craft a HEARTY CREAM CAKE and a CROCKERY, all at the BRICK
BARBECUE.
FIERCE FOUNTAIN; You acquired this earlier from a side task and can be crafted at the WELDER'S WORKSHOP.
HOT WATER CRYSTAL; This is the orange water block that was in your base at the start of this Chapter.
CEDAR TREE; For this you just need to plant a CEDAR SEEDLING in it's place, which will eventually grow into the tree.
FREEZIA & MEDICINAL SHRUBS; The actual plants are what's needed and there acquired with a SHOVEL, you will have these
already if following the guide. You should now be on approx 20-22 days.
Once the SPECTACULAR SPA is completed, your base shouldn't be far off level 5. Just add any furniture/lights etc to your base that you
have collected to get it to level 5. Once at level 5, craft a BUCKET and then grab HOT WATER x5 using your BUCKET from the
BODYBUILDERS BATH, then place the BUCKET and HOT WATER in a CHEST. Now save your game, get ready for battle and then talk with
Barbella to begin the final lot of battles. Win the 1st battle, as always, try to keep the enemies away from your base. Straight after, talk
to Barbella and begin the 2nd battle. After winning the 2nd battle, talk to Barbella again to begin the final battle.
After winning the 3rd battle, save again, then talk to Barbella once ready to engage the BOSS.
BOSS BATTLE
The Magmalice And The Firn Fiend
For this you won't be using weapons, you will be using the BASHMOBILE. You need to get on the BOSS platform and then enter your
BASHMOBILE, don't walk around on foot, as the BOSS will damage you with ice and fire attacks. Your BASHMOBILE can only damage
enemies when it is boosting, and it's quite hard to steer while it is boosting. Don't enter your BASHMOBILE from the top of the stairs as
it's easy to boost straight of the ledge, quickly run to the inner straight part and boost from there with more space to steer after.
Drive around the arena dodging the flame or ice enemies until you reach the BOSS, then boost straight into the BOSS or it's hands, and
just repeat this until it's dead. If you fall down, make your way back to your base and climb back up, but keep an eye on your health as
the lava will drain it quick.
It will alter it's form slightly when it's health drops to certain levels, and may hide until you defeat it's minions. You can safely run
around at this point until and defeat it's minions on foot until the BOSS comes back. Apart from that the same method still applies to
the rest of the BOSS phases, drive around the arena, boosting into the BOSS.
After you defeat the BOSS, grab the CRACKED CRYSTAL, then talk to Barbella. Now craft the SUNSTONE, talk to Barbella again and then
se the SUNSTONE at the BANNER OF HOPE.
Now make a final save. Before you finish the Chapter, craft the following food using the BRICK BARBECUE the eat afterwards unless you
have eaten some of these yourself already;
FRIED EGG
COBBLED EGG
SEARING STEAK
BUNICORN STEAK
GUNGERBREAD
PANCAKES
ICE CREAM
Eating these should have just popped the following Trophy if not earlier;
Epic Epicurean
If this hasn't popped yet don't worry as it will later. Now head W to the beam of light and finish the Chapter. Now you have completed
the Chapter and all 5 Challenges, you should acquire the following Trophies on the results screen;
Keeper of Kol, Guardian of Galenholm
First of all, grab the SCONE and DRAGON BONES x2 next to you, and also grab the HUGE HORN. Now head S and talk to the man at the
BONFIRE. Take the BONFIRE then follow him, everytime he stops, talk to him to get him moving again, grab any BONFIRES and a few
HUGE HORNS along the way. Talk to Myrlund once he reaches the room, then plant the GREEN NAVIGLOBE on the grass, then talk to
Myrlund again to acquire his Quest.
For the time being, if you hunger meter get's low, talk to Myrlund to replenish it.
Now grab a few BROKEN BRANCHES from close by (make sure its the live BROKEN BRANCHES that have some colour to them), then
craft a HORN-RIMMED BUCKET at the TREE STUMP. Now head S to the QM and read the RED BOOK to acquire your next QM. Grab the
WHITE PETALS from by the pond and the FILTER FOUNTAIN, then head back to the temporary base. Place the FILTER FOUNTAIN in the
small patch of water, then craft HEALING CREAM x3 and then drop everything apart from the HEALING CREAM (you will have to open
your inventory and select 'discard'. Now kill some Skeletons around your base until you have COARSE CLOTH x3, once you do, craft
PLAIN CLOTHES and equip them
Make sure you only have the HEALING CREAMS then head NE to the QM. Read the NOTE on the CRATES at the QM, then from the
NOTE, climb the mountain to the East, then scan the top of the mountain here for a body, then smash the wall just in front (E) of him to
reveal a passage. Head down here, and take the first right to find a chest containing some HEALING CREAMS. Then head to the EVIL
IDOL and follow the path W behind it, but shortly after passing behind the EVIL IDOL, keep an eye out for some breakable blocks on the
left, you should see some holes in the wall. Smash this wall and open the hidden chest behind the wall to acquire some COARSE CLOTH.
Keep following the path until you reach the next EVIL IDOL, open the chest behind it to find BROKEN BRANCHES x20. The carry on, soon
after, you will come to a left and right fork in the path, take the left to find a chest with a SEED OF LIFE, then follow the other path
which will lead to a Dragon. Defeat the weak Dragon, grab the SEED OF LIFE, then enter the door behind it and grab the DIVINER'S
ALTAR. Now exit back outside, then head SW back to the base.
Once back at base, grab your HORN-RIMMED BUCKET and then collect PURE WATER x15 from beside the FILTER FOUNTAIN. Now place
the DIVINER'S ALTAR and craft HOLY WATER x75 using all your PURE WATER. Now talk to Myrlund to complete the Quest and then use
some HOLY WATER on the Princess Statue in the centre. Now talk to The Princess, then talk to Myrlund and begin the battle. After
defeating the Skeletons, place the BLUE TELEPORTAL that you receive, then talk to The Princess and Myrlund. Now repair the nearby
room and then sleep, talk with Myrlund and The Princess after you wake (talking to The Princess for the time being will replenish your
health). Then once done, grab the DIVINER'S ALTAR and enter the BLUE TELEPORTAL.
After, craft a STONE SWORD, now head out W, and collect the following nearby;
WOOD x8 (Cleanse the big branches to transform them into PLUMBERRY TREES)
Once you have these, head back to base and craft a COLOSSAL COFFER, then place it in W room where the TREASURE CHEST is, perhaps
best to break the dividing wall so that this is one big room. Now take a few mins to chop down all the plants and boulders in your base,
makes sure there cleansed. This should earn a good amount of GRASSY LEAVES, WHTE PETALS, STONES and MEDICINAL LEAVES from
clearing your base.
Now explore the area looking for large balls made out of blocks floating in the sky just above the ground, underneath these, the floor
will be covered in BLOODSTONE. These floating balls, contain blocks that will convert to IRON and COAL when purified, the black blocks
will become IRON, and the grey blocks with skulls inside will become COAL. Find a few of these floating block balls and purify/loot them
till you have acquired at least COAL x50 and IRON x60. Also, while your doing mining for COAL/IRON, loot other materials until you have
acquired the following;
STONES x40
FUR x10
BLOODSTONE x20
Once all is acquired, head back to base and plant the PLUMBERRY SEEDLING x10 in your base, but it must be on plain EARTH with no
grass, so you may have to dig up some blocks and place them back down. Now craft a FURNACE, then place the FURNACE and craft five
lots of IRON INGOT (25). Now craft 3 lots of STEEL, then craft;
STEEL BROADSWORD
SLEDGEHAMMER x2
IRON ARMOUR
STEEL SHIELD
Equip these, make sure you hunger meter is almost full, that you have some healing items, then head SW to the castle. Along the way,
grab FROGSTOOL x30. Once you are near the castle gate, kill the Red Hands until you have acquired SLUDGESTONE x10, then enter the
gate and kill the Monsters inside the castle.
In the castle, you will find that you have to make your way up the floors, killing a few monsters on each floor, with the last monsters on
the roof. Be careful against the Skeletons as they double attack. As you make your way through the castle, loot the TREASURE CHESTS
you find as well everything else you see furniture wise such as;
DRACONIC COLUMNS
SCONCES
BIG TABLES
BRAZIERS
MAGIC DOORS
EVIL IDOLS
Once all enemies are defeated, loot the 2 CHESTS in the top room for STEEL SABATONS and the BANNER OF HOPE. Now exit the castle
and head back to base, but before placing the BANNER in your base, head through the BLUE TELEPORTAL and refill your hunger meter,
then come back and place the BANNER. Keep talking to Launce, The Princess and Myrlund when they appear until you acquire their
Quests, The Princess will give you a STRENGTH RING.
Now, before you do anything else, head W from the best until you reach a tower of ash, climb this and loot the CHEST at the top for
FRIED FROG FEAST x5. Now kill the CHIMAERAS at the base until you have acquired CHIMAERA WINGS x10. Once you have the
CHIMAERA WINGS, kill the Sages that spawn along the whole of this western shore until you have acquired SHOT SILK x30, this may
take a few days. Also, use your HOLY WATER on FROGSTOOLS here to transform them MARSHROOMS and loot MARSHROOMS x20.
While farming the Sage's, keep an eye out for a TREASURE CHEST in a small encampment just slightly inland, defeat the monsters near
this and loot the CHEST for GOLD x3, you will need this GOLD so make sure you grab it. The last thing you need from this West shore is
CORALILY BUD x2, these are dropped by the Black Dracky's that roam these parts.
Once all is acquired, head back to base. Now back at base, we will complete Launce's Quest first, make sure your COLOSSAL COFFER is
in a room, then add BOLD BANNERS x2, TREASURE CHESTS x3 and a CHEST to create a TREASURY. Now talk to Launce to complete his
Quest.
Next, select MYRLUNDS BLUEPRINT and complete his Quest next, place it down somewhere and then complete it. Most the furniture
needed is already in your base, but the quickest way to obtain the CASTLE WALLS and CASTLE FOUNDATION is to create them at the
FURNACE. However, for the CASTLE WALLS, it's cheaper/faster to craft CASTLE CLADDING, then head outside, use HOLY WATER, dig
down 2 blocks into the earth, then use a CASTLE CLADDING and lastly spin attack to collect it all. The CASTLE FOUNDATION in the
blueprint is the bottom blocks on the walls, remember this as almost every blueprint for this base will always need the CASTLE
FOUNDATION blocks at the bottom. Once done, hand the Quest into Myrlund.
Now create a BRICK BARBECUE if not already and place it in a room. Create only food when you need it using the MARSHROOMS or
FROGSTOOLS, hopefully the residents will create enough for you.
Now before you begin the next Quest, save your game. Now create a SHOVEL, then place the DAFFODAISY BUD x2 and CORALILY BUD
x2 that you should have and then dig them up with the SHOVEL to acquire DAFFODAISY x2 and CORALILY x2. Also head out and dig up
five MILKBLOSSOM flowers with the SHOVEL to acquire MILBLOSSOM x5.
Now head NW to the far mountains, once at the mountains, keep an eye out for any caves and for a block structure on the top of the
mountain that forms a slime shape. Now enter a cave here and mine it for GOLD and SILVER, mine about GOLD x50 and all the SILVER
(there won't be a lot). Once acquired, leave the cave, and make your way up and onto the slime monument on the top of the mountain
corner that you should have already seen. At the top, talk to the Orange Slime, and then give it a DAFFODAISY once it asks, talk to it
again afterwards to acquire a CLOUDED MEMORY. Once done, warp back to base.
Now select the TANTEGEL THRONE ROOM blueprint and then place this on the floor in the raised room, for once a blueprint fits
perfectly! You should now have everything to complete this blueprint, so finish it. Afterward it's completed, talk to The Princess to
complete the Quest, then talk to Trystian when he appears at the BANNER. After talking with Trystian, talk to Myrlund, your base
should be at level 2 now which will complete his next Quest. Once your base is at level 2, remove all the doors like normal the place
them back down to gain some easy points.
Grab some HEALING CREAMS, then Keep talking to Myrlund to begin the next Quest which is a battle assuming your ready.
Once the battle is won and you have acquired the RED TELEPORTAL, talk to The Princess, Myrlund and Launce to acquire their Quests,
then place the RED TELEPORTAL in a room. Afterwards, talk to Trystian to obtain his Quest, then head through the RED TELEPORTAL.
A Patchwork Island
You should be at 9-13 days by now.
First, head NE to the sand area. Now remain here until you have acquired ROCKBOMB SHARDS x9 and FINEST FUR x5 from the relevant
enemies (Purple Bunnies and Rockbombs). Once you have these, warp back to base and craft WRECKING BALLS x10 and a FULL PLATE
ARMOUR, equip the armour, make sure you have some healing items then head back through the RED TELEPORTAL.
Head to the SE QM first, and kill any Trolls along the way. Once you reach the lava area at the QM, and climb up the stairs, defeat the
enemies. Some enemies on are the platform either side of you, to damage them you will have to reposition the MAGIC CANNON that is
up here and use that. Just be very careful up here as you can die very quick, stay on the move and keep your health high. Once the
enemies are dead, talk with Barbella, the head to the nearby QM through the wall with her and kill the enemies at the end. Be careful
again as there are some tough enemies here also. Once the enemies are dead and you have acquired the SUNSTONE, leave the tower
and then head N to the N QM, ignore the castle that you pass on your way.
At the QM, place a WRECKING BALL beside it to destroy the blocks and free Rollo. Now kill the King Slime that appears then talk to Rollo
again. Now talk to the Blue Slime just W of you to acquire the ANCIENT EMBLEM, then talk to Rollo again to recruit him into your party.
Now head West along the sand, but keep an eye on the N mountain on your right, you should see another slime-shaped structure on
the top. Climb to the top of this and talk with the slime. Give him a CORALILY flower afterwards, then talk to it again to acquire a 2nd
CLOUDED MEMORY. Now make sure Rollo and Barbella are with you, if their stuck below, make your way down to them and then warp
back to base.
Talk to Rollo and barbella back at base to acquire some goodies, then hand the Quests in to Myrlund and Trystian. Now head back
through the RED TELEPORTAL making sure you have some healing items. Now head to the NW QM, kill any Trolls along the way if you
still haven't acquired a FLOAT-O-COPPER, don't worry if you don't acquire it now either. Once you reach the poison lake, use the
BASHMOBILE to quickly get across and talk to Elle. Afterwards, kill the two nests on the hill just behind her then scale the mountain and
destroy the nests at the top. You can easily get swarmed here so watch your health. Once all nests are destroyed, a King Crab will
spawn, quickly kill this, grab the STAFF OF RAIN then report back to Elle. Once she joins your party, warp back to base.
You base may reach level 3 soon, do as per normal and break all doors, the place them back.
Talk to Elle back at base to welcome her, then hand the Quest into Launce, you have just received MEDICINAL HERBS x30, nice! Talk to
The Princess now to complete her Quest. Talk to Rollo, Elle, Barbella and Trystian afterwards to acquire their new Quests. Complete
Trystians first, for this Quest, you will need to create a PRINCESSES BEDROOM that has the following inside a room;
PRINCESS-SIZED BED
LADY SIGN
CHIC CHAIR
FLOWERS (the actual flower that need you use a SHOVEL to obtain, just use a MILKBLOSSOM that you should already have)
CANDELABRUM
Once completed, talk to Trystian to complete the Quest then move onto Elle's. Place her HOLY HOSTEL blueprint down and complete it ,
the GODDESS STATUE is crafted at the DIVINER'S ALTAR. Once completed, hand the Quest into Elle, make sure you have some
WRECKING BALLS then head through the RED TELEPORTER.
Head NE to the sand, and enter the few caves that you will see along the N mountain wall. Inside you will find veins of ORICHALCUM,
RUBY, and ZENITHIUM (blue). Use your WRECKING BALLS to destroy these, but use them wisely, don't use a WRECKING BALL just for a
single block. Once you have looted two caves along the sand, you should have over 50 ORCICHALCUM, about 10 RUBY and 10
ZENITHIUM. Warp back to base afterwards.
Back at base, craft the SWORD OF KINGS and a AURORAL ARMOUR and equip them, then hand your Quests into Rollo and Barbella.
Now craft and equip the HERO'S SHIELD, then talk to Myrlund to complete his Quest. Keep talking to him to acquire his next Quest,
then craft a ULTIMATE KEY at the DIVINER'S ALTAR. If you still don't have a FLOAT-O-COPPER that is a uncommon drop from the Trolls,
head through the RED TELEPORTAL and keep killing Trolls in the initial area until you acquire a FLOAT-O-COPPER.
Once the ULTIMATE KEY is crafted, save your game, then head through the RED TELEPORTAL. Now head E to the QM at the castle,
unlock the door with the ULTIMATE KEY, then enter and defeat the MINI-BOSS.
MINI-BOSS
The King Of Darkness
Fairly straight forward, he's similar to one of the Knight enemies only he hits much harder. Just keep attacking him, avoiding his simple
attacks while keeping your health high. Kill any minions that he spawns. Once dead, loot the PRISMATIC CRYSTAL from he CHEST the
after the cutscene, exit the castle and warp back to base.
Back at base, hand the Quest into Myrlund, then talk to The Princess to acquire her Quest. Now before you do anything else, head back
to the initial island through the BLUE TELEPORTAL. Once through the BLUE TELEPORTAL, climb the mountain just S of you where you
should see another slime structure made from blocks. Talk to the slime on top, then give him a MILKBLOSSOM, talk to him again
afterwards to acquire the last CLOUDED MEMORY. Now, from the slime structure, head E along the mountain top to the lit-up cave in
the distance.
Once at the lit blocked doorway, smash the blocks to gain entry, then head down the stairs inside. Once at the bottom of the stairs,
look at the right wall and you will see some crates stacked to the top. Smash these to reveal another area, then kill the Orange Skeleton
in this part to acquire a KEY. Now check the SE corner just near where you killed the Orange Skeleton and you will see a section of the
wall has grey blocks. Smash this to reveal a hidden area, then head along the path and kill the Orange Skeleton here for another KEY.
Keep going and you will reach a Cell, open it with a KEY, then kill the Knight inside and loot the THANATO'S SHIELD from the CHEST,
then retrace your steps back to the stairs.
(By the way, don't equip the equipment you find here as you can't un-equip it without destroying it, it's just required for a Challenge)
Back at the stairs, follow the BANNERS to the first RED DOOR. Unlock this and head through forward but before you follow the bend to
the left, look at the corner on your right and you will see some cracked brown blocks. Smash these blocks to reveal another hidden area
although you don't have a KEY right now. Ignore this hidden area for now and carry on the normal route where you will kill 2 more
Orange Skeletons to acquire their KEYS. Now ignore the 2nd RED DOOR you just passed, and head back to that hidden area you just
uncovered. Now unlock the Cell inside, defeat the Knight and the loot the CHEST for a WAILER'S MAIL.
Now head back and enter that 2nd locked RED DOOR you just passed. Just pass the 2nd RED DOOR, remove the mossy blocks then head
down the stairs below. At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and head to the end where you will find another wall in the corner with
grey blocks. Destroy the blocks then head into the hidden area, explore the area to find 2 Red Skeletons that you need to kill to acquire
2 more Keys. At the end here, you will find another Cell door. Unlock it, then defeat the Knight inside and loot the RING OF CRITICALITY
from the CHEST, then head back to the well near the stairs.
This time take the other path and enter the 3rd RED DOOR, carry on to the end here to find a Knight next to a THRONE and CHEST. Kill
the Knight, then loot the SWORD OF RUIN from the CHEST, then leave the tunnels and go back outside. Once outside, warp back to
base.
Back at base, complete the SANCTUM blueprint, you should have all materials needed. Create a room around the SANCTUM once
finished and that should reward you with enough score to hit level 4, which is the max. level on this Chapter. If your still not quite level
4, place some furniture found earlier until you are.
Once done, create the RAINBOW DROP at the ANCIENT ALTAR and then talk to The Princess to begin the next battle. Defeat the
enemies keeping them away from your base. Once the 1st battle is complete, talk with The Princess to begin the 2nd and last battle.
Complete this battle and then talk to The Princess to begin the next Quest. Now craft YGGDRASIL ESSENCE x2, then grab the DIVINER'S
ALTAR to take with you, and afterwards, use the RAINBOW DROP to warp to the Dragonlord's island.
Head West and then follow the route through the canyon South. Keep heading S until you reach the castle entrance, at the is point,
climb the S mountain and you should see the final slime monument. Head to the top of this and talk to the King Slime who will teach
you the VERDANT VISION recipe. Now place your DIVINER'S ALTAR and create this, then pick it back up and give the VERANT VISION to
the King Slime. Keep talking to him afterwards to acquire GUNGERBREAD from him and to complete this Challenge. Now warp back to
base, save your game, then use the RAINBOW DROP to warp back to Dragonlord's Island.
Once back at Dragonlord's Island, head to the QM, you can either go straight over the W mountain in front or follow the canyon. Either
way, once at the castle, follow the path that the castle forces you to take. Loot the CHESTS along the way to find some MEDICINAL
HERBS, a SCARE ROOT and a RUBY OF PROTECTION. Equip the RUBY OF PROTECTION and then smash the blocks behind the THRONE to
reveal a secret passage. Then once ready, head forward to engage the BOSS.
BOSS BATTLE
The Dragonlord (1st phase)
VERY IMPORTANT Just before the BOSS is dead, place ANY AURORAL ARMOUR and HERO SHIELD'S that you have in your COFFER. You
can't have any in your equipment bag at all, whether they are equipped or not, they must be in your COFFER. You don't need to equip
anything in it's place as you won't be wearing anything for the next battle. YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS BEFORE YOU TAKE ALL
HIS HEALTH AWAY.
You can't attack the BOSS yet, you will need to kill all it's minions before it's shield will drop temporarily allowing you to attack. The best
way is to stay behind the COLUMNS and defeat the minions from there, that way the BOSSES projectiles won't hit you.
Once there is only 1 minion left, kill it near the BOSS, so you can begin attacking straight away and don't waste anytime. Keep your
health high (use SEEDS OF LIFE first) and just keep doing this. The minions can be a bit frustrating, especially, the larger enemies, just
keep behind the COLUMNS, avoid what attacks you can while keeping your health high and you will be fine. The BOSS will also inflict
spells that will temporarily disable your item use, this is why it's important to keep your health high, if you do get in trouble, just try to
avoid enemies until you can use items again.
Just watch out for the large orbs that the BOSS places later in the fight, this can take a lot of damage so do your best to avoid these as
they fly across the room.
Once the BOSS is dead, you will get a cutscene and afterwards you will be asked to join him, you MUST answer NO otherwise you will
be thrown back to the title screen and will have to redo this.
First you will receive a CANTLIN SHIELD, place this in the centre when the Dragon is their to stun it when it bites then melee it's head
with your SWORD OF KINGS. When it jumps to the far sides, run to the opposite side to dodge it's poison breath and just repeat until it
jumps back.
Once it jumps back, it will summon some minions while it shoots orbs at you. Kill all the minions while moving to avoid the orbs, be very
careful as you don't have no armour so you will take a lot of damage, be sure you keep moving/dodging and keeping your health high.
After all the minions are dead, the Dragon will jump back to you and get ready to breath it poison breath. At this point, a friend wil give
you some blocks, quickly build a tower underneath you 6 blocks high to dodge this. Afterwards, you will be given some MAGIC
CANNONS and you must use these now to damage the Dragon when it jumps to the back. The Dargon will still fire orbs though so you
still need to avoid these, adn they will destroy your MAGIC CANNONS so try to run past them and use them to keep on the move.
Once you have drained it's health so much, it will call some minions again, tougher minions though this time. As before, just keep
running back and forth hitting the minions when you can and use any health items that your friends throw.
After the minions are dead, you will need to apply everything now to take it's last bit of health down. You will know when it's going to
breath it's poison as it will stand still for ages charging it. At the end, when it jumps close, it's best to just place a CANTLIN SHIELD down,
then if it doesn't bite in a few seconds, that means it's going to breath poison. At that point make a tower 6 blocks high, then continue
the strategy.
Eventually it will fall, grab the item in the centre, watch the small cutscene then use the item. Back at base, keep talking to The Princess
to complete the game, or talk to your friends just before if you want some additional dialogue. After the credits and the end cutscene,
the Chapter results screen will appear, at which point you will earn the following Trophies;
Titan of Tantegel
Torchbearer of Tantegel
If you didn't catch the King Slime earlier on in Chapter 2 and completed that Challenge, go back and do this now and complete the
Chapter afterwards to acquire this Trophy. Hopefully you will have more luck at this point.
These are the four Misc Trophies mentioned at the start of the walkthrough. You should have acquired these by now, but if not, reload
a end of Chapter save, and carry on fulfilling the requirements of one of these you haven't yet acquired. If you run out of materials
doing so, don't save, just exit and reload as your stats save automatically on your profile in the background.
These will really all likely be acquired by now anyway, so none of this will need doing, i've just mentioned these here to be safe.
Throughout the game, you will learn approx 35 room recipes, once you have learnt a room recipe, it will save to your profile straight
away. From that point you can view that recipe in your menu at any time, whether you saved afterwards or not. To see how many more
you require, just reload a Chapter save and check your room recipes on the menu.
There is a total of approx 81 room recipes within the game, here I will list about 30 that you wouldn't have acquired from following the
story. So you can simply just reload end Chapter saves and create these rooms. Here a the list of what items will register as a room
category item, I have copy/pasted this from the start of the guide so that it is easier to refer to;

Further below is the extra list of 30 rooms. I have listed the easiest 30 to create that you will likely have the materials for. Once these
room shave been created, they will instantly be saved to your profile, no need to save your game, so if you have created a room, but
have run out of materials for the next, simply exit and reload without saving and you will have all your materials back plus the room you
just created will still be saved in your recipe menu.
Some of these rooms are suited better to different Chapters so I will try to list what is better for each Chapter, that way you can load
the end save in a Chapter, create a few rooms, then load the end save of the next Chapter, create some more rooms and repeat. Keep
checking your room recipe menu to see how many more you need to create. A lot of these, you can carry on from the previous room by
just removing or adding something to create the next room.
Here is the list, and you don't have to create these inside your base, they will count register as rooms no matter where they are
created, you just won't receive any points outside of your base. You may have some of these already, but there is more than enough
listed here to reach the Trophy requirement;
