REFLECTION:
On March 19, I presented a math lesson for 27 KG2 students in the class room at Alnaseem
School. The main focus was to help students compare and describe the 2D and 3D shapes.

In the lesson starter, the students sang the morning song and counting song because the
students always start their morning with those song. The students were engaged and were
excited to take part because they were familiar with the song and confident that they could
sing. After that I ask the students about what they have yesterday and what we will take about
today.

Next, I wanted to check what students know about the 2D and 3D shapes. I print big paper
and I but different picture of the shapes after that I ask student to write their name under all
picture. I repeated this many time. I found out that all the students know about the 2D shapes.
The students were confident to give answers and shouted out the answer. I the future, I will
change how they give the answers. I would like students to write the answers on a small
whiteboard and then hold the whiteboard up. This will help me know who knows the
answers and who does not, instead of always hearing from the students who know.

After that, I take the students outside to breaking the routine after that I sent the students to
tow groups by calling their names. This was organized. For this lesson, I made 2 centers. The
first center was about draw and print 2d shapes with using the color and some subject about
2D and they will print on the paper. The second activity was about how we can make the 2D
shapes with using our bodies and the student will be on group and they will make a shape
with help themselves.

For Closing activity Students will share what they have done in the centre and they will
explain what they do.

In the next lesson I will ask students more question to see if they understand.
The student draw and The student draw and write the 2D shapes.
print the 2D shapes.

The student create a different
