Configuration details
Define Production Scheduling profile
Purpose:
The purpose of this activity is to specify that all control instructions/recipes of an order are created
automatically during order release.
IMG Menu Path/Transaction code:
SAP R/3 Menu Production Planning for Process Industries --> Process order --> Master data --> Define
Production Scheduling profiles
Note- Material 2612, plant 4300 is having production scheduling profile ZI07.
In this step, transport the process instruction characteristics and process message characteristics predefined
by SAP from the SAP reference client to logon client.
The names of the characteristics predefined by SAP all start with PP-PI
Destination type:
01 R/3 Function Module
02 External Function
03 SAP office User
04 ABAP/4 Table
05 SAP Alert Management

Descriptions and configuration values:
On the Create/change Message Destinations: Overview screen, enter the following data:

On the screen field Dialog Structure select target fields/message destinations, enter the following data:

Purpose: In this IMG activity,you define a control recipe destination that you want to use in your plant.

Here, Control recipe 01 whose destination Type is 1 Transfer to ABAP list-based PI sheet.
Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to create PP-PI characteristics In this IMG activity, you define the that

On the Characteristics screen in the tab Basic Data, enter the following data:

Select Proc. mgmt On the Additional Data for Process Instructions and Messages screen in the tab Basic Data,
enter the following data:

On the Characteristics screen in the tab Basic Data, enter the following data:

On the Additional Data for Process Instructions and Messages screen in the tab Basic Data, enter the following
data:

1 Process parameter-
2 Process data request- process data request contains the process message category to use for the process
message
Type of process instruction that specifies that a value must be calculated in the PI sheet. This value is then
sent to a destination using a process message.The process data specifies:
Value to calculate
Formula to use for calculation
Message category of the requested process message
5 Inspection results request-Process instruction that specifies the operations and phases for which inspection
results must be recorded. For these operations and phases, the function for
recording inspection results can be accessed directly from the PI sheet.
6 Dynamic function call-A process instruction that enables the process operator to call a user-defined
function module from the PI sheet.

On the Change View Process Instruction categories: Overview screen, enter the following data:
Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to assign Characteristics to Process Instruction Categories.

Assign and characteristic values to process instruction categories. You specify the sequence of the
characteristic in a process instruction category using sort numbers.When you create a process instruction, the
characteristics assignments of the instruction category are copied to the process instruction.

At first, i would like to thank you for sharing this. I suggest it would be more useful if you would have shared a
live example apart from configurations.
I also have one more query :- In the "Create Characteristic" Screen displayed in above screen shots, i am not
able to find the "Behavior during RFC Connection Problems" Tab under "Value Help and Check in Remote
System" after "RFC Destination" field in the "Additional Data for Process Instructions and Messages" in my
system.
May i know whether this is due to SAP version? or do i need to make any settings to see the same screen
displayed by you.
