Changing Color Scheme, Look and Feel of Application 11i and R12

Changing the color scheme and look and feel of forms in Oracle applications can help distinguish different application instances. Setting the Java Look and Feel profile option to "oracle" allows setting a custom color scheme, while "generic" uses defaults. The Java Color Scheme profile option can then be set to an available color like "Blaf", "Khaki", or "Purple" to change the application interface colors. System administrators can access the Java Color Scheme profile through the System Administrator, Profile, System menu options.

Forms Colours
I like to keep all the instance form colours different from each other so that I can easily
tell them apart. Set the following profile option to any colour of your choice.

1. Set the Java Look and Feel profile option value to oracle. If you set it to generic, it
will take the default values and you won’t be able to set your own color.

2. Then set Java Color Scheme profile option value to any of the LOVs as per your choice.

Navi : System Administrator Profile System  Java Color Scheme

The different colours are,
