Modern India is unique as the largest functioning democracy and mixed economy in the world. It has immense diversity with over 15 official languages and thousands of dialects. The country's future depends on the interaction between its urban and rural areas, with urban areas focused on modern industry, politics, and technology, and rural areas maintaining traditional societies. For India to succeed, it needs to continue expanding education and reducing illiteracy while introducing basic healthcare across both areas.
