Wind Load Calculation

1. The document provides information for calculating wind load on structures according to Eurocode 1, including wind velocity, terrain factors, exposure factors, and equations for mean and peak wind velocities. 2. Values are given for a location in Hungary with a basic wind velocity of 23.6 m/s and calculations are shown to determine the mean wind velocity of 17 m/s and peak velocity pressure of 535 kPa at a height of 10.56 m. 3. Wind load calculations are also presented for a solid cylinder 10 m in height and 2 m in diameter, giving a wind force of 61.8 kN.
