23rd Commencement Exercises - MC Script
Pre-program The San Agustin National High School Commencement Exercises are about to begin. We expect the
Commencement Exercises to last approximately 3 hours so before we begin this ceremony, let me remind
everyone to please turn off your phones or put them on silent modes. Please also be courteous around
you by refraining from talking aloud. And during the presentation of graduates, we encourage you to
express your pride by applauding and cheering for them.
Once again, thank you to the San Agustin NHS faculty and staff.
Completing the required 2480 hours was never a hindrance for the 148 students to pursue in completing
the academic and work immersion requirements of their respective chosen strands. And now, here they
are, with smiles on their faces, very excited to get their diplomas. So without further-a-do, may I call on
Mr. Nilo P. Samputon, the School Principal to present the candidates for graduation to Mr. Lope S. Hubac,
who is representing Dr. Nimfa D. Bongo, our Schools Division Superintendent.
Sir Nilo: By virtue of authority in me vested as the School Principal of San Agustin National High School, I
have the honor to present the 148 candidates for graduation broken down as follows:
Accountancy, Business, and Management- 28
Humanities and Social Sciences- 10
Home Economics- 84
Information and Communications Technology- 26

School?
Message of the SDS To formally introduce to us the representative of the Bohol Schools Division Superintendent, please
welcome Ms. April Ann M. Dinampo, Teacher II. A round of applause please.
Thank you sir and once again, thank you for gracing this event.
Inspirational Message At this point, let us lend our ears as we listen to the inspiring words of our dear mother of the barangay,
ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Hon. Rosita L. Canono.

Thank Hon. Canono and once again, thank you for spending your time with us.
Awarding of It is said that the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to excellence
Academic regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, let us recognize those students’
Achievement ordinary things extraordinarily well.
At this point, may I request Sir Lope to hand over the medals and certificates to our honor graduates to
be assisted by Mr. Nilo P. Samputon, Dr. Peregrita J. Datahan, Mrs. Marilyn P. Suarez, and Ms. Allen Mae
D. Bitasolo.
Congratulations once again to our honor graduates. I bet your parents are indeed so proud of your
achievements! Once again let us all give them a round of applause.

May I also request the members of the faculty to line up before stage to personally congratulate the
graduates after they’ve received their respective diplomas.
There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the graduates of batch 2019 has officially graduated and are
ready to take on life challenges ahead. Once again, congratulations graduates.
Words of Gratitude To express the gratitude of batch 2019, may I call on Mary Joy S. Celades, with high honors from the HE
Strand and the Class Valedictorian. A big hand please.

Parent Response The batch 2019 graduates would have not reached this far, if not because of the people beside them. At
this point, let us hear a response from the parent of our class valedictorian, ladies and gentlemen, with a
round of applause, please help me welcome, Mrs. Rosita S. Celades.

Tribute to Parents At this point, the graduates would wish to take this opportunity through singing an originally composed
Song song to pay tribute to you parents/guardians for the unending love and support to the graduates.

Graduates’ Prayer To the graduates, please remain standing for the next three parts of the program, namely: the Graduates’
Pledge of Loyalty Prayer to be led by Madel T. Bernante, with Honors from the ABM Strand; Pledge of Loyalty to be led by
Alumni Pledge Kim C. Abico, with Honors from the ABM Strand; and the Alumni Pledge to be officiated by Mrs. Sheony
S. Lopez, Alumna.

Graduation Song Music is the expression of the soul. It moves emotions and feels with the movement of time. Through a
song that emphasizes that there is strength in unity and camaraderie, let us hear the graduates sing their
graduation song. Composed by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil; and performed by Zac Efron, Vanessa
Hudgins, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman, let us take pride in witnessing
the graduates as they sing “High School Musical” with Graduate Venna Marie M. Remperas, with Honors
from the ABM Strand, leading.
Acknowledgment & To formally close today’s event, may I call on the PTA President for School Year 2018-19, he is no other
Closing Remarks than Mr. Precioso C. Lagapa, Jr. for his acknowledgement and closing remarks.

Recessional There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the program has been formally closed and on behalf of the San
Agustin National High School administration, faculty and staff, congratulations to our batch 2019
graduates. This has been Fernando B. Enad, wishing a bright future ahead of you!
