4.2. Use case Description:


The use case descriptions are given below:
a) Patient Registration

Actor: Patient

Brief description: To make an appointment patient registration is required.

Preconditions: Valid email address and phone number. Patient must have any
mobile device and internet.

Basic flow:
1. For the registration process, the user/patient needs to give some information by
filling the form. Some of the required information includes the following:
2. First name
3. Last name
4. Phone number
5. Email
6. Address
Post conditions: Registered successfully.

b) Search for a doctor

Actor: Patient

Brief description: In this use-case, any registered or unregistered user, can look
and search for a doctor of any desired specialty.

Preconditions: Patient must have any mobile device and internet.

Basic flow:
1. By going into the category of any specific specialty, the user can view the list of
all registered doctors.
Post conditions: doctor found successfully

c) View history

Actor: Doctor/Patient

Brief description: Doctor and patient can view medical history.

Preconditions: Doctor/patient must be signed in.

Basic flow:

1. The doctor/patient will click on the name of the patient and it opens the patient's
profile.
2. By going into it the user can view the history by clicking on the button for the
patient’s old reports/history.

Post conditions: The doctor/patient successfully view the history.

d) Take an appointment

Actor: Patient

Brief description: After choosing a doctor, patient will go further to send an


appointment request form the available timing.

Preconditions: User must be login.

Basic flow:

1. The patient/user hits the button for taking an appointment for the doctor.
2. A list of available timings will appear for the chosen date.
3. The user will select the suitable time for him and send the request for approval.

Post conditions: The user successfully booked an appointment.

e) View Patient

Actor: Doctor

Brief description: Doctor will be able to view patient ‘s detail information


including his/her medical history.

Preconditions: Doctor must have any mobile device and internet. Doctor must be
signed in.

Basic flow:
1. After selecting date.
2. The doctor selects the patient.
3. Doctor can view patient details and medical history.

Post conditions: The doctor successfully check the patient details.
