Mechanical stirrer & Size Separator

Objectives of the project:


1. To be able to use mechanical stirrer and size separator
operated on a single energy source.
2. It can aid whilst preparation of pharmaceutical
preparation like suspension
Mechanism:
Magnetic Stirrer: It consists of motor, battery and blades It
involves movement of particles, movement is imparted by
blades. Motor is used to rotate the shaft on a perpendicular axis
Size Separator: It is an amalgamation of the concept sieving
and winnowing. Sieving only removes particles that are larger
than the pores in the sieve, the apparatus therefore also use
winnowing to remove finer particles that are undesired
