Planning
Switch to Automated System Develop an Automated Cashiering
System.

System’s Objective Provide faster transaction and less


effort.
Helps averting problems in using
manual billing transactions.

Analysis
Who will use the system? The system will be used by the
cashier and the manager/owner of
the resort.
What the system will do? The system will provide easy and
fast transactions with less error.
Where and when it will be used? The system will be used in Evelyn’s
Resort right after implementing the
system.
Requirements gathering Conduct interviews about their ideal
system and ask questions about the
problems encountered using
manual process.

Design
Software to use Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 for
coding
Microsoft access for the Database
User Interface Great user interface providing easy
navigation for users.
Database Specifications The data stored in the database will
include the Total Amount to be
paid, the Amount tender and the
Daily income.

Implementation
System Construction Testing the system to ensure that it
works as designed.
Installation System installation and conduct
training to user/s.
Maintenance Is done for some major or minor
changes of the system.
