for the children of his poor neighbour from the profit money. Find out:
a) The selling price of the TV.
b) The amount of profit received.
c) What values did Ravi depicted here?
29. From the sum of 4 + 3x and 5 − 4 x + 2 x 2 , Subtract the sum of 3x 2 − 5 x and − x 2 + 2 x + 5
OR
Simplify the expression 2(a 2 + ab) + 3 − ab and find its value at a=5 , b = -3.
30. A path 2.5 m wide is built along the border inside a square garden of side 50 m. Find:
a) the area of the path
b) the cost of planting grass in the remaining portion of the garden at the rate of Rs.20 per
m2 .
