This document outlines the method of procedure to check TDM or IP transmission of 2G on

2 Method

Step 1: Right Click the Site ID and Click Maintenance Client

Step 2:

Click the Site ID and find Site Index

Step 3: Click the MML

Step 4 : Input the command “LST BTS”

Choose LST TYPE: BY BTS Index, Put the BTS index, Click EXEC

As show in the outcome, check the SERVICE TYPE and IP PHY TRANS TYPE

There are 3 possible outcomes.

1. Service Type: TMD, IP Phy Trans Type: Null, which means TDM transmission
2. Service Type: IP, IP Phy Trans Type: IP_OVER_E1, which means TDM transmission
3. Service Type: IP, IP Phy Trans Type: IP_OVER_FE/GE, which means IP transmission
