Attention: Dean, College of Education

Dear

Congratulations for being a Center of Excellence for Teacher Education (COE). We at PAFTE share in
your honor since your faculty are active PAFTE members.

We like to honor and with pride showcase your achievement as a COE during the 39th Annual PAFTE
Convention to be held on Oct 18-20, 2010 at the Splash Mountain Resort in Los Banos, Laguna. The
theme of our convention is Quality Assurance in Teacher Education or how to make the PAFTE TEIs
become COE. This is to encourage our TEIs to do their best in order to graduate excellent teachers.

In view of this, may we request your Dean to prepare a short presentation about your College of
Education and its outstanding achievement that makes you earn the distinction? After the 15 minute
presentation, kindly add what role your Teacher Education College will be/do to the region where you
belong.

We will be equally honored if you, as the President of a Center of Excellence for Teacher Education
could grace our convention. For details, please refer to our letter of invitation sent to your Dean.

Congratulations once again and we look forward to your institution’s active participation at the PAFTE
Convention and your continuing support to the cause of the Philippine Association for Teacher
Education.

Thank you and warm regards.

Sincerely,

Amor Q de Torres, PhD

PAFTE National President
