One day a beggar came to a saint’s house. The saint had no money with him. But he found a
gold ring in his wife’s drawer. He gave the ring to the beggar. When his wife discovered this,
she told him to run after the beggar and get back the ring because it was worth five thousand
rupees. The saint immediately left the house and went out. When he saw the beggar he said,
“My friend, I have just come to know, the ring I gave you is worth five thousand rupees. Don’t
sell it for less. Don’t let anyone cheat you.”
