Unvirtual Me

1. Start the RegWin32-Server

2. Create a VM
Windows XP - (X86) 32 Bit- Service Pack 3
or Windows 7 - (X64) 64 Bit- Service Pack 1
or Windows 10 - (X64) 64 Bit - Newest Version
Warning: ! Windows 7 and Windows 10 (x86) 32 Bit will not work!

3. Don't Install the Normal VMWare-Tools! Use "VMWare-Tools-Windows-RegWin32" to Install those


Mount them to your CD-Disk

3b. Change your Network Adapter to Bridged!


4. After finished Installed VMWare-Tools RegWin32 do a Reboot and Copy your "UnVirtualMe"-Folder to
the Desktop of your VM!

5. Install "dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64"

and

DirectX 9.0c -> Start DirectX Installer -> Unpack to a Folder -> Start DXSETUP
Both are Included in the UnVirtualMe Folder!

6. Shut down the VM fully and wait for the VM to be Off! Don't make changes while the VM is still on!

> Go to your VM Folder and edit the .VMX file with a Text Editor add the following Code!
monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = "true"

isolation.tools.getPtrLocation.disable = "true"

isolation.tools.setPtrLocation.disable = "true"

isolation.tools.setVersion.disable = "true"

isolation.tools.getVersion.disable = "true"

monitor_control.disable_directexec = "true"

7. Start your VM and Create a Host.txt on your Desktop and Insert your Local IP into it!

8. Move the Host.txt into C:\Windows\System32

9. Run the "Launcher" as Administrator in your UnVirtualMe Folder.

If it doesnt Work, make youre you installed "dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64" and the Path is set correctly
inside the Launcher.
10. Your UnVirtualMe.exe should start now, if it doesnt Load -> Turn Off your Firewall and restart
UnVirtualMe.exe
>Two CMD Windows will open, do not close them.

Choose your OS, in my Case Windows 7 - 64 Bit (X64)

If it shows "Done!" you can Play CrossFire now without Problems.

13. After Cloning your VM's you only have to run the "Launcher" every reboot. Don't forget, the
Launcher will NOT work if RegWin32-Server is not Running on your Main-PC.
So please Make sure RegWin32-Server is always Running!
