Rules and Policies of Internship/On-the- Job Training (OJT) Program of BS in


Industrial Technology

Second Year – Summer (OJT 1)


Number of Hours: 270 hours

 Before a student could undergo Internship/On-the-Job Training (OJT1),


he has to comply all prior major subjects.
 The students may only have their Internship/On-the- Job Training (OJT)
within the School Premises or in the local establishment of Calbayog City
subject on the recommendation of his Instructor/Professor.

Third Year – Summer, On-the- Job Training (OJT 2)


Number of Hours: 270 hours

 Before a student could go through his Internship/On-the- Job Training


(OJT) 2 in the third year summer, it is presumed that he/she already
took up his InternshipOn-the- Job Training (OJT) 1 in the second year
summer and other major subject’s requirements.
 The area of deployment will be the same as in his Internship/On-the-
Job Training (OJT) 1. However, he has an option to choose another firm
or establishment he wishes to unless otherwise it could complies the
standard requirements of the school or university.
 The Internship/On-the- Job Training (OJT) deployment should be based
from the specific field of specialization.

Fourth Year – Second Semester (OJT 3)


Number of Hours: 540 hours

 The students can be allowed to undergo OJT 3, if he has completed all


his academic requirements within or outside Calbayog City. However, if
he has still 6-unit subjects to be taken, he is only allowed to apply OJT
within Calbayog City area, but if he still has more than 6-unit subjects
he is NOT ALLOWED to apply for OJT 3.
 In addition, he must submit his final manuscript of his Research Study.
