Title registration: What to submit?

q  Project titles are as listed in the provided forms


q  First come first serve basis.
q  A topic based supervisor blinded selection.
q  Allow a student per supervisor.
q  Students should choose title following their course options (e.g. students
with Process Engineering option should choose Process Engineering
project)
q  You have about one week to choose your topic within Week 1. Results
will be revealed by end of Week 1.

q  How to register?
Ø  Complete form PU/PS/BR06/AJR in Putra Blast

Meeting with Supervisor: What to do?

q  Meeting with supervisor starts from Week 2.


q  Meet your supervisor regularly to discuss your progress, difficulties, etc.
q  At least once a week in a semester. Depends on supervisor’s preference.
q  Prepare an A4 log book for all discussion, project planning and
management matters and experimentation etc.

q  What to record?
q  Log your every meeting by filling in the PU/PS/BR07/AJR form, available
in PutraBlast.
q  Ensure that the form is endorsed by your supervisor.
q  Record keeping of the forms, together with other information in your log
book at all times.

FYP Proposal Submission: What to do?

q  Discuss your project thoroughly with your supervisor.


q  Clarify the title, objective, methodology and research needs e.g.
facilities, experimental items, journals searching, access to
certain special services etc.
q  What to submit?
q  Fill in the FK3-Q-PROPEL2 form,
available in PutraBlast and
submit to Course Coordinator
latest by Week 8.
