Separate sealed Tenders in W.B.F 2911 (i) / (ii) are hereby invited by the Executive Engineer, Midnapore Division, P.H.E Dte, Dak-Bungalow Road,
Midnapore from the bonafide resourceful contractors ,enlisted class and working contractor of P.H.E Dte for sinking Mark-II Hand Pump Tube-
well at different Blocks in Paschim Medinipur District having credential in executing 50% of work value in same nature ( except enlisted class )
,on election urgent 2009 details as follows:-

The tender will be opened on 09.04.2009 by the undersigned after dropping of tender.
No permission for Tender papers will be sent by post.Permission will not be issued against any application sent by Post with respect to the
eligibility criterion, the credentials as wanted by the Tender Inviting Authority are applicable for any one work in the said N.I.T if any applicant
intends to apply for more than one work as per the said N.I.T/N.I.Q shall have to submit credentials of value multiplied by the number of works for
which, he applies for.
Application for permission to participate in the Tender must be accompanied with attested Xerox copies of valid I) PAN (II) STCC/VAT (III) P. Tax
(IV) PTCC (v) Credential/Payment Certificate / completion certificate/technical & financial capability without which no paper will be issued.
Earnest money should be deposited in the shape of Bank deposit at call receipt/Bank Draft/K.V.P duly pledged in favour of Executive Engineer,
Midnapore Division, PHE Dte.
For further information of the detailed N.I.T may be seen / obtained from the office of the Tenderer inviting authority within working hours.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Required credentials to be produced by the working contractors only (b) Rate(s) must be offered by the Tenderer(s) / Tenderer(s) in person
(himself / themselves) . 2. Mere work order will not be treated as valid credential. Only the satisfactory completion certificate/Payment certificate
will be treated as valid credential.
3. Enlisted contractors in case of reserved works only have to be furnished along with Tenderer/Tender papers, Xerox copy of the documentary
evidence as to the fixed deposit with the department in each case.
4. Deduction of Sales Tax and Income Tax shall be made as per rule in vogue.
5. Deduction of Cess as per Welfare Cess Act 1996.
6. The Tender inviting authority reserve the right to (i) split the work amongst the lowest Tenderers and (ii) issue the part work order to the lowest
Tenderer.
7. The undersigned reserved the right as to relaxation in respect of eligibility of contractor . The tender inviting authority reserves the right to reject
any or all the application without assigning any reasons wherever and also reserves the right to change the choice of Serial(s) as applied for, by
the applicant.
8. Tender is to be placed in sealed covers super scribing the name of work.
9. Rate should be quoted both in words and figures. The rate quoted shall be considered as inclusive of Sales Tax and all other taxes and
charges. This should be quoted in figure & word.
10. The undersigned reserves the right not to issue permission to any applicant if in the opinion of the undersigned it fails to fulfill the above
requirement or otherwise on basis of performance record under PHE Dte.
11. Work shall have to be completed in all respect as per direction of the Executive Engineer, Midnapore Division, PHE Dte.
12. Rate quoted (including S.T., I.T., VAT etc) shall remain open for acceptance at least 6 (six) months from the date of opening of the Tender.
13. The undersigned has the authority to reject any or all Tenders received without assigning any reason thereof.
14. Table bid may be invited on opening day of the tender.

ADDITIONAL SPECIAL CRITERIA (For Election urgent 2009)

Supply of Materials (UPVC Pipes and specials) : Suggested band name Supreme, Oriplast, Aquoflow Polymers, Karan,Long Last Pipes (India)
Ltd., Utkarsh Tubes & Pipes Ltd., Patton. Test and guarantee certificate by the manufacturer must be produced to the concerned Assistant
Engineer, RWS, Midnapore Sub-Division, PHE Dte.

Over and above all materials (pipes) supplied by the contractor must bear ISI certification mark on pipes at interval as prescribed by ISI. All the
expenses of the affect are to be born by the contractor.

Agreement will be terminated if the work is not completed in all respect within the 24 th April 2009
