Section A COMPOUND WORDS

Textbook: Phonics Year 5

Section A - Passage

1) Students will have fill in the missing words in the passage from the textbook. Choices of
words are given to assist them and identify the missing words.

Section B: Soft and Hard “G”

2) Students will be asked to give example words with “G” sound.

Section C: “The 2 Sounds of S”

3) Students will be asked to group the words in the word bank.

Year 6
Textbook: Phonics Year 6

Section A - Passage

1) Students will have fill in the missing words in the passage from the textbook. Choices of
words are given to assist them and identify the missing words.

Section B: Silent letter

2) Students will be asked to group the word and identify the silent letter from each word.

Section C: “Zh Sound”

3) Students will be asked to give example word with “Zh” sound and write it in a sentence
form. Correct spelling and right grammar will be given an additional point.
