Demand Letter To Pay

Tipaklong owes Langgam P70,800 plus 4% monthly interest since May 2016 for financing his gambling addiction. Despite demands, Tipaklong has failed to repay the loan. He deceived Langgam into lending him the money by promising to surrender his rice harvest if he did not repay, but had no intention of keeping that promise. This letter is a final demand for Tipaklong to repay the loan within 10 days, or legal action will be taken against him.

LETTERHEAD

April 16, 2018

Tipaklong
Purok Sampaloc,
Maasim, Sarangani Province

Dear Mr. Tipaklong,

I am writing in behalf of our client, Langgam, in the matter of your

outstanding obligation due to her.

Records disclose that you owe our client the amount of Seventy
Thousand Eight Hundred (P70,800.00) Pesos on May 1, 2016 plus a
four (4%) percent monthly interest, which was used to finance your
gambling addiction. Unfortunately, despite repeated demands made by
our client, you deliberately failed to settle your obligation to her.

Your act of making our client believe at the time you received the loan
amount that you would surrender your “rice grains saved for the rainy
season” in the event that you failed to pay your loan obligation,
constitutes deceit and false representation. Had you not made deceitful
assurances, our client would not have consented to lend her hard
earned money to you.

Hence, FINAL DEMAND is hereby made to you to settle your

outstanding loan obligation to our client within ten (10) days from the
receipt of this letter. Otherwise, we will be constrained to file civil and
criminal cases against you, when applicable, to vindicate the rights of
our client.

We trust that you will give this matter your prompt and preferential
attention to avoid the expense and inconvenience of litigation.

Sincerely yours,

Atty. Ibon
