SOFTWARE REFLASH GUIDE FOR YEZZ ANDY A4E

Requirements:

- Yezz Andy A4E phone.


- Micro USB cable included with the phone or Micro USB compatible cable.
- Computer with Windows XP - Vista - 7 32-Bits operating system.
- Computer with Windows Vista - 7 64-Bits operating system.

IMPORTANT: Unlike the SD Card method, this procedure will DELETE ALL EXISTING data on the phone
(applications, contacts, pictures, etc.).

1. Decompress the update pack.

2. Install the drivers located in the “Phone Drivers” folder following the numeric order:

 Folder 1: InstallDriver.exe (Windows 32 or 64 Bits).


 Folder 2: PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v130.exe (Windows 32 or 64 Bits).
 Folder 3: InstallDriver.exe (Windows 32 or 64 Bits).
 Folder 4: Install.bat (Windows 32 or 64 Bits).

3. Open the software update tool “flash_tool.exe” located inside the folder “Update Tool”.

4. Click on “Download Agent” button on right side and select the “MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin” file located
in the “Update Tool” folder.

5. Click on “Scatter-loading” button on the right side and select the
“MTXXXX_Android_scatter_emmc” TXT file located in the “Software Update” folder.

6. Be sure that the following options are selected and/or not selected according to the images below:

7. Once the options are verified, proceed to update the phone following the steps below in the
specified order:

a. Turn off the phone.


b. Remove the battery.
c. Connect the USB cable.
d. Press the “Firmware -> Upgrade” button in the top bar of the window.

e. Insert the battery.

8. When the phone is recognized, the update will start showing the progress on the bottom bar.
9. Once the update is complete, the progress bar will reach 100% and a green circle will appear on the
screen.

10. In this moment, the phone can be unplugged and you can close the application.
