Based on several discussions/meetings between L&T Project manager of Duragam Cheruvu project
and EE/ SE of GHMC, regarding site constraints and subsequent Minutes of Meeting on 9th March 2017, the
revised alignment plan and profile drawing has been prepared. The following are the deviations from the
tender alignment drawing of 13891-00/DD-0101 (R3) dated 2nd June 2016;
1) Pylon P3 relocated towards P2 side approximately 25m to avoid fouling of the foundation with
existing sewage line and now P3 located on the edge of bund.
2) To maintain the tender span of 233.85m between P2 & P3, P2 location is also shifted by 25m towards
P1 side. Accordingly, the alignment is redesigned towards Mind space approach.
3) From chainage 0+800 onwards center line of tender alignment is shifted away from hill side towards
compound wall by approximately 8m to maintain a distance of approximately 10m between the edge
of deck/RE wall and compound wall as per GHMC instructions.
4) Considering the criticality involved in the design of unbalanced back span for main bridge across
Durgam Cheruvu lake and also site constraints such as topography, the back span length of 66m
(tender proposal ) on both sides needed to be increased. During meeting with GHMC on 09/03/17 it is
agreed to increase back span to 89m on each side of main span with minor changes in the geometry
towards Inorbit mall side (refer MoM Annexure).
5) GHMC has proposed an elevated flyover along Road no 45 for future development requires suitable
integration with the Durgam Cheruvu project alignment near Ambedkar university. Due to this two
spans between A3 & A4 (as per tender drawing) location are relocated after A2 (as per tender
drawing) location with the same cross section and span configuration.
6) Based on the above, vertical alignment is redesigned and the formation level touches the ground level
at chainage 956.209m .
7) With above modifications, L&T's scope end at new A2 location of chainage 900.167m. (Refer MoM
and revised Plan & Profile drawing attached)
