Ongoing Results from Google searches

"RSS" link near top left of the search results then follow "Blog Subscription Tips" box above.
! If you are searching Google groups (newsgroups/Usenet) or the main Google web search, use their Alerts
(RSS is not involved): Go to www.google.com/alerts and paste your full search string in the Keywords
box. Enter the email address where you want to receive new matching results on an ongoing basis.
From the select menu, whether you want it to search the Web, groups, etc., or all. Choose how often
you wish to receive results in the other select menu. You can set as many alerts as desired, and edit or
remove them at any time.
Ongoing Results from Live.com searches
! If you have Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (recommended for this; free download at
www.microsoft.com/ie): When viewing search results, click the orange RSS button in your MSIE toolbar.
The page will change, then click “Subscribe to this feed”. It will prompt you to save it (name & folder
location can be changed). Feeds appear under the tab next to Favorites near top left of browser.
