Please note that this entry fee structure is valid only until 25th December 2017. Thereafter
till 7thJanuary 2018 the participants will have to pay Rs. 500/- extra. Entries will also be
accepted at the venue till 20:00 Hrs. on 8th January 2018 with a late fee of Rs. 1,000/-. No
request towards waiver of entry fee or waiver of late fee will be entertained.

Tournament Rules:
System of Play:
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System
with 10 rounds.
Time Control :

90 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1 for entire game.

Tie Break:

In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect.

The Cash prizes however will not be shared.

Accommodation:

All GMs will be provided free hotel* accommodation on double sharing basis.

All IMs/WGMs/WIMs/Players above 2200 rating will be provided free hotel accommodation
on double sharing basis.

All other participants will be provided free accommodation on triple sharing basis/dormitory
accommodation for entire duration of the event. (If a player require double sharing
accommodation, Rs. 1000/- to be paid for entire duration of the tournament)

only allowed to participate in this event.

All Players Rs. 5500/- (Including lodging for five nights on dormitory/triple sharing basis)
Entry for Delhi players Rs. 5000/- (No lodging will be provided)
(Note: - Those Players who are registered with Delhi State Chess Association on or before
30.11.2017 will be considered as Delhi Players)

Entry Registration
All the entries to be forwarded along with entry form and entry fee by DD (Delhi Cheques
will also be accepted) favoring Delhi Chess Association, payable at Delhi. Address for
sending the entries is the Secretary, Delhi Chess Association, C/O Hotel KC PLAZA, 5588,
Basant Lane, Pharganj, New Delhi-110055.
Players can also pay the entry fee and submit the entries through Delhi Chess Association
online payment portal available at www.delhichess.com

Players can also pay the entry fee directly to the following account through NEFT and
forward the entry form along with transaction receipt. Please note that cash deposit in
account will not be entertained.

Discount

Players of all Categories will get Rs. 500 discount in entry fee, if they pay the entry
fee before 30th November 2017.
Players of Category ‘C’ will get Rs. 1000 discount in entry fee, if they opt to play
Category ‘B’ also. This discount is available only upto 30th November 2017.

A discount of 50% in entry fee will be granted to all Military/Para Military/Police

Personnel and Veterans above the age of 60.

Entry Form

It is mandatory to forward the entry form in the given format for accepting the entries along
with prescribed entry fee. The organizing Committee has the right to accept or reject any
entry without assigning any reason.

AICF Registration:
All Indian players must be registered with AICF for the year 2017-18 before the registration
deadline to participate in the tournament. All players are to forward proof of registration
along with entry. Those who not registered with AICF, are to forward their duly filled AICF
Registration form with fee need to be send along with tournament registration form.

Weather:
The Weather in Delhi during January is expected to be cold.
The minimum / maximum temperature will be around 10/25 Degree Celsius.

Reporting & Venue :

Players who require accommodation are to report at Hotel KC Plaza, 5588, Basant Lane,
Paharganj, New Delhi (Opposite to New Delhi Railway Station and Near Karnail Singh
Stadium) as per arrival schedule.
