1. Which concepts about print (CAP), phonological awareness, letter knowledge and or
phonics did the teacher focus on?
a) What did strategies/activities the teacher use to help the students understand the
concept being taught?
The teacher makes sure to show all the students the story picture and to use different level of
sounds and changing her voice with the different characters in the story to make the story more
interesting for the students. Also, if the story what about a specific lesson she will focus more in
the sounds and the words belong to the lesson.

a. What was the purpose of teaching these concepts? Explain its importance.
It is important to use different level of voice while the reader read for the students because it will make
and help the student to be more interesting of the story the reader read. My teacher was focusing in the
words belong the lesson and ask the students to repeat the important words.
