Procedure for Training Issue # 01

PURPOSE:

To provide basic information and instruction to all appointed workers about the quality
system, process and machinery which are to be used.

SCOPE
This Standard Operating Procedure is applicable for training of personnel at
Pharmaceuticals Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Head QA or his/her designee for co-ordination on training of the personnel.
 Production pharmacist
 Store incharge
PROCEDURE

i. On the Job Training


ii. This type of training is a departmental training which shall be imparted to all
staff members whose functioning affects the productivity of various
departments.
iii. The staff shall be trained with respect to his or her area of working in the
department.
iv. Every employee of the organization shall be trained on his / her area of
operation prior to start the work. The training shall be imparted depending on
the nature of job and responsibilities.
Newly appointed employees
i. First assign the department to newly appointed workers on the basis of his
qualification and experience.
ii. Give general information about working conditions in pharmaceutical industry,
Personal hygiene, sanitation, process and machinery.
iii. Leave them with senior operator for 10-15 days and regularly check their
performance.
iv. Prepare training plan and then train them according to schedule

RECORDS:
Training plan and training record of every worker.
